Dates And Locations Announced For Two Of The Biggest WWE Shows Of The Year

Mark your calendars. We are coming up on WrestleMania 36, which is kind of like the season finale for WWE. Everything that the company does leads up to the show and that means they need to have something planned for after it is over. That is the case with a host of pay per views still to come later in the year. Those shows need to be announced, and two of them did just that on Monday.
There are a lot of pay per views on the WWE’s annual calendar and that means they have a lot to cover. In the modern version, several of the shows have some kind of a theme to them, including matches that will dominate the show. Some of these are bigger than others, and on Monday two of the biggest shows of the year had a lot of information established for the first time.
The locations and dates for two 2020 WWE pay per views were announced on Monday. First, the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland confirmed via Facebook that Money in the Bank will take place on May 10. Second, according to the Wres..

BREAKING: Title Changes Hand On Monday Night Raw

Surprise! Titles are what make the wrestling world go around. With few exceptions, almost every major story centers around or at least features a title in some way or another. That can make for some interesting moments as a title change can shake things up in a hurry. If you don’t know that it’s coming, things can be even more exciting. That was the case again in a big way on Monday.
One of the biggest stories over the last few weeks on Monday Night Raw has been Seth Rollins taking over the show. Rollins has dubbed himself the Monday Night Messiah and assembled an army to fight off just about anyone who dares to get in his way. As you might have expected, this included winning a title, though the title reign wound up being rather short lived.
This week on Monday Night Raw, the Street Profits defeated Rollins and Murphy to win the Raw Tag Team Titles for the first time. The match was billed as the Street Profits’ last chance to win the titles forever and came after they had lost multip..

REVIEW: Elimination Chamber 2017: Which Way To Orlando?

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over ten years now and have reviewed over 5,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net, starting today. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be?
Elimination Chamber 2017
Date: February 12, 2017
Location: Talking Stick Resort Arena, Phoenix, Arizona
Commentators: Mauro Ranallo, John Bradshaw Layfield, Tom Phillips, David Otunga
We’re two weeks removed from the Royal Rumble and that means it’s time for another pay per view. This time it’s Smackdown only with the big namesake match setting up the Wrestlemania World Title match for the blue brand. The winner seems pretty obvious but that’s never stopped WWE before. Let’s get to it.

Monday Night Raw Live Coverage And Results – March 2, 2020

Monday Night Raw
Date: March 2, 2020
Location: Barclays Center, New York City, New York
Commentators: Byron Saxton, Jerry Lawler, Tom Phillips
This is a weird one as it’s the fallout show from Super ShowDown as well as the go home show for Elimination Chamber. Hopefully we get more for the latter than the former as Elimination Chamber is hardly looking like a strong show at the moment. I’m not sure what we are going to see added but they need to do a lot of it. Let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
Here are Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar to get things going. Heyman does his usual shtick and then says he can’t do this. It’s their job to make you interested in Wrestlemania and yes, this year’s card looks like the best in years. The problem is the main event, which is a sham. Drew McIntyre is overhyped, because he eliminated Lesnar from the Royal Rumble with the help of a low blow from Ricochet.
There is no reason to believe that McIntyre can pin or submit Lesnar because the next time Lesn..

VIDEO: Former WWE Star Wrestles Retirement Match

He managed to get out. Wrestling is a unique business as most wrestlers are not going to wrestle until the time when most people are ready to retire. A lot of the time they are going to get out of the business far earlier than most and that can make things a little bit strange for them down the line. Some of them get out when they want to though and that can make for some nice moments, such as what happened last week.
A lot of wrestlers have come and gone over the years. Some of them might have had more success than others, but there are a lot of them who have made an impact in one way or another. Now some of these impacts might not have been the most positive, but at least they are remembered for something. One such wrestler got in the ring for the final time after a memorable career.
On Friday night, Duane Gill, better known as Gillberg, wrestled his retirement match at an Adrenaline Championship Wrestling event in Glen Burnie, Maryland. James Ellsworth tweeted out that he wrestled..

The Fiend Attacks Seth Rollins at WWE ‘Clash of Champions’ and Fans Change Their Tune

The Fiend made his presence known against Seth Rollins at WWE Clash of Champions on Sunday, September 15. Rollins had just successfully defended his Universal Championship versus Braun Strowman, but The Beastslayer’s celebration was short lived. Bray Wyatt attacked him on the entrance ramp as the crowd in Charlotte, North Carolina, went wild. The live audience was indeed ready for Wyatt’s arrival. The crowd had been chanting “yowie wowie” at several different points during the event as it seemed they were preparing for the fiendish finish that was to come. But even as fans are excited for what they saw, many more are wondering why Wyatt has already been selected as Rollins’ next challenger. The fact is, this move had to happen.
Pro wrestling fans can be a curious bunch at times, mostly because of the unifying themes they seem to echo nearly everyday, especially online. On one hand, fans want to rally behind a Superstar when he or she is not given what they deem to be fair treatment. B..

VIDEO: Next Up. WWE Champions Issue Challenge For Title Match.

I guess the winners get to pick what’s next for them. Clash Of Champions was, as you might have guessed, all about titles. There are a lot of titles in WWE and therefore there are a lot of champions that go with them. Some of the champions did better than others on Sunday and some of the winners aren’t wasting time in finding themselves some new challengers.
In a new video posted to the WWE’s YouTube page after Clash Of Champions, Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross challenge the IIconics to come after the titles. Cross and Bliss defeated the IIconics to become champions on August 5, though the match was a four way also involving Fire & Desire and the Kabuki Warriors. The champions went on to retain the titles against the IIconics at Summerslam.
The champs know what they want next. Check out their post defense challenge:

Opinion: Is there anyone else to go after the titles at this point? Bliss and Cross have already take..

The Man Is In Trouble. Becky Lynch Is Being Punished For Clash Of Champions.

You have to pay the chair, Man. Becky Lynch is one of the biggest stars in WWE and there are very few names on her level. That means she is going to be on some of the biggest shows of the year in some of the most important spots. That was the case on Sunday when she defended the Raw Women’s Title against Sasha Banks at Clash Of Champions, but things didn’t go well after the match was over.
As announced on WWE.com, Lynch has been fined $10,000 for striking an official with a chair during her match against Banks. The shot effectively ended the match but Banks and Lynch brawled around the arena for several minutes until other referees came out to separate the two and call for the bell. Lynch’s chair shot to the referee was accidental, though she did not seem apologetic about it.
It was a heck of a fight. Check out what led to the fine and what came after the referee went down:

Becky Lynch Fined For Her Actions At Clash Of Champions 2019

Even The Man isn’t exempt from the rules. Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch engaged in a battle for the Raw Women’s Championship at Clash of Champions 2019 and the two heated rivals ended up taking the fight all throughout the arena.
However, this was after an incident inside the ring cost The Man some money, according to WWE.com:
Becky Lynch has been fined $10,000 for inadvertently striking a referee during her Raw Women’s Championship Match against Sasha Banks.
The Man had intended to deliver the chair strike to The Boss but ended up hitting the referee instead. After the referee went down, the title match descended into chaos, as the two rivals took their brawl to the concourse.
Lynch did not seem pleased with the outcome of her match:

Banks brought the chair into the ring to use on Lynch, but the referee took it out of her hands and threw it to the ground. This gave The Man the idea to use it on The Boss; however, she moved out of the way ..

A little change can be good for everyone. It had been previously rumored that a WWE Draft was coming, in order to help with the company’s upcoming move to FOX on October 4.
WWE confirmed the news tonight during the 2019 Clash of Champions pay-per-view, and posted the following about it on WWE.com:
