WWE RUMOR: Aleister Black Tried To Return To NXT

Can you blame him? WWE has kind of a weird setup with all of its rosters as both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown are seen as the big leagues, but NXT is on for two hours a week in prime time on the same network as USA, but is seen as the minor league show. Officially that is what it is, but not some of the main roster wrestlers are more interested in heading there than sticking around the main roster, including one NXT legend.
One of the worst fears for an NXT fan is to see a wrestler called up and having nothing to do on Monday Night Raw or SmackDown. For some reason, this happens far too often and they are left in limbo. This isn’t just the case for an NXT wrestler though as sometimes it happens to wrestlers who have been on the main roster for a long time. That is the case with one former NXT star and now he has been trying to head back down, albeit to no avail.
According to the WrestleVotes Twitter account, former NXT Champion and SmackDown star Aleister Black recently requested t..

AEW’s Kenny Omega And Others Receive Prestigious Honor

It’s quite the honor. There are all kinds of wrestling opinions out there but just like in anything else, there are some that are going to be seen as more valuable or important than others. Perhaps the biggest of them all outside of a major promotion is that of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, which has been reporting on the behind the scenes information in wrestling for over thirty years. The Newsletter also has its own Hall Of Fame and they now have a new class.
Wrestling has changed quite a bit in recent years and a lot of what you are going to see has changed with it. The modern action is often built around acrobatics and high flying with an emphasis on athleticism, which may or may not be your personal cup of tea. There are certainly people who love it though, and one of the most successful wrestlers of this era has received quite the honor.
The 2020 Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall Of Fame class has been announced, with the Kenny Omega among the class. Omega has since comme..

Chelsea Green Suffers Injury During WWE Debut (Again)

That’s another level of snake bit. Injuries are the kind of thing that you can never predict in wrestling and that is the kind of thing that makes them all the more devastating. You never know when someone is going to be knocked out of action for any length of time and then there is little more to do than wait. That seems to be the case again and now it is some amazing bad luck.
Chelsea Green made her full time main roster debut this week on SmackDown, participating in a fatal four way qualifying match for the Survivor Series women’s team. Green had appeared in NXT before and had been called up to the main roster but had yet to actually show up on television. Now she has done so, and somehow lightning has struck twice in a way that is almost impossible to believe.
WWE has announced that Green suffered a broken wrist during the four way match. It is not clear how long she will be out of action. This is the second time that Green has broken the same wrist, with the previous injury taki..

Top Monday Night Raw Star Makes Surprise SmackDown Appearance

That’s a way to get people watching. The WWE Brand Split has changed the way the company is run again and that is a good thing in a lot of ways. It almost splits the company in two with Monday Night Raw and SmackDown being made into separate rosters. The is the kind of thing that can make for some interesting moments and we got to see one of those on Friday night.
One of the major appeals of the Brand Split is having the wrestlers kept apart for most of the year. It makes for some great ways to set up some major matches because you don’t get to see them very often. WWE makes a big deal out of having the roster going at each other on special occasions, with Survivor Series being one of them. We got a previous of it this week.
During this week’s SmackDown, Monday Night Raw’s Drew McIntyre made a surprise appearance to confront Universal Champion Roman Reigns. McIntyre was then cut off by Jey Uso, setting up a match between the two of them for later in the night, with McIntyre winning. ..

New Name Qualifies For SmackDown Survivor Series Team

The lineup keeps growing. We are less than two weeks away from Survivor Series and that means it is time for some last minute moving to get the card set up. With so many things taking place on the show, it makes sense that some of them are going to get less of a priority than others. That includes filling out some of the Survivor Series match lineups, though a step was taken to fix that this week.
The Survivor Series elimination matches have been the show’s calling card over the years with almost every edition of the show’s history including at least one. That is the kind of thing that you get used to in a hurry and over the last few years, the matches have mainly focused on Monday Night Raw vs. SmackDown. The same is true this year, and now we have another name added to the list.
During this week’s SmackDown, Liv Morgan won a fatal four way match to join the SmackDown women’s Survivor Series team. Morgan defeated Tamina, Natalya and the debuting Chelsea Green in the match to qualify..

Chelsea Green Makes Her Debut on Smackdown

It had been previously reported that Chelsea Green had been called up to the main roster, but hadn’t made her appearance on either Raw or Smackdown. However, it would seem that her final destination has been revealed.
Tonight on Smackdown, Green made her official debut on the blue brand for Smackdown. After appearing for a brief moment with Adam Pearce backstage, she was announced as a surprise entrant in a Fatal 4-way match for a spot on the Women’s Survivor Series team. The other participants in the match were Natalya, Tamina and Liv Morgan.
You can see a clip of her in her match below:

In the match, Morgan pinned Tamina to pick up the victory.
Editor’s Note:
This is very interesting, because usually when a superstar gets a surprise entrance like Green did, they usually pick up the victory. However, about midway through the match, she left the ring and didn’t really return, while the others were battling it out. Either way, it’s great to see her back on television and I hope th..

WATCH: Brock Lesnar vs. AJ Styles from Survivor Series 2017

One is phenomenal, the other is a beast. WWE has posted a new video to its YouTube channel in which they show the full match between then Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and WWE Champion AJ Styles from Survivor Series 2017.
You can see the match in its entirety below:

From WWE.com:
Perhaps the biggest boost to Styles’ confidence was that he managed to evade the F-5 at every turn, most significantly when he reversed it into a Calf Crusher that very nearly accomplished the impossible and submitted The Beast. That was until Brock snaked his massive arm around Styles’ throat and slammed him repeatedly into the mat to break the hold. Yet the move did its job, as Lesnar again tried to hoist Styles up on wobbly knees for his signature move and The Phenomenal One slipped off his shoulders for a Phenomenal Forearm.
Unfortunately, what would have been a surefire finishing strike landed Styles exactly where Lesnar wanted him, as a second attempt at the Phenomenal Forearm delivered the WWE Ch..

SmackDown Live Coverage And Results – November 13, 2020

We’re less than two weeks away from Survivor Series and that means it’s time to get the rest of the men’s elimination team set up in a hurry. Other than that I would say it would be nice to hear something about the champion vs. champion matches but that ship seems to have sailed. Let’s get to it.
Here are Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman to get things going, with the commentators actually talking about Reigns vs. Randy Orton or Drew McIntyre at Survivor Series on the way to the ring. Reigns says Heyman calls this the Island Of Relevancy because Reigns makes everyone relevant. Jey Uso was the one who made you ask which twin he was but thanks to Reigns, he’s Main Event Jey Uso.
Over the last two weeks he has beaten Daniel Bryan and Kevin Owens and then at Survivor Series it will be him leading Smackdown to victory. Then Reigns will beat the secondary champion on the same nig..

BREAKING: WWE Releases Zelina Vega

There’s the first one. In a year that has been full of off the wall stories, one of the biggest wrestling issues has been that of WWE’s new Twitch policy. The streaming platform has become a handy secondary income source for several wrestlers who get to communicate with fans while streaming games or just chatting with fans. WWE was not happy with this and now a big development.
The biggest point of contention over the issue, believe it or not, was money, as the wrestlers were making so much money through Twitch that WWE wanted a cut. Under the new policy, WWE would claim control of the Twitch accounts and the wrestlers would receive a cut of the revenue. This was not well received, and now one of the wrestlers is not going to be around any longer.
WWE has announced the release of SmackDown’s Zelina Vega. This comes less than an hour after Vega sent out a tweet saying that she supports unionization. Vega has been with WWE since June 2017 and has served both as a manager and as a wrest..

Undertaker Possibly Taking On New Role In NXT

I think there might be a place for him. WWE is the biggest and most powerful wrestling promotion in the world and a lot of that is due to the amount of resources that they have on hand. One of their most important and prominent is the Performance Center, which has become the home base for all WWE training. Now the facility might be getting a new employee to help with the process.
We are less than two weeks away from Survivor Series, which will feature the Undertaker’s Final Farewell. The idea is exactly what it sounds like: Undertaker is finally riding away from WWE and that is the kind of thing you do not get to see very often. Undertaker has been around WWE for thirty years now, but it seems that even his final farewell might not be his last goodbye from WWE.
In a new interview with the Wrap, Undertaker mentioned that he has been in discussions with Triple H to become a trainer at the Performance Center, though there has been nothing officially decided. However, the biggest problem..

AEW RUMOR: Pac’s Return Might Have A Slight Delay

Sounds like a plan. AEW has a very deep roster with some incredible talents both from the United States as well as abroad. There are not many companies in the world either today or in recent memory that can boast about having this kind of a roster and AEW does a good job of making sure it is well rounded. They received a boost last week and it seems that things are going to get even better.
Last week, Pac made his return to AEW after several months away due to Coronavirus related restrictions. The absence could not have come at a worse time for Pac, who was starting to get some momentum and was even part of the Death Triangle stable with Penta El Cero Miedo and Rey Fenix. Everything changed when Pac was gone, but where do things stand now that he is back?
According to Bodyslam.net, the current plan is for Pac to reform Death Triangle with the Lucha Bros, setting up a feud with Eddie Kingston, Butcher and Blade. Pac is scheduled to remain in the United States until just before Thanksg..

NXT UK Results – November 12, 2020

NXT UK
Date: November 12, 2020
Location: BT Studios, London, England
Commentators: Andy Shepherd, Nigel McGuinness
We’re coming up on the end of the Heritage Cup tournament and that means we are going to need some finalists. A-Kid advanced to the finals last week and this week we find out who his opponent will be. Other than that, we have the debut of Rampage Brown, who looks like he could be a big deal. Let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
The Hunt vs. Kenny Williams/Amir Jordan Eddie Dennis is here with the Hunt. Boar takes Williams into the corner and it’s Primate coming in off the top with a shot to the back. A headlock doesn’t do much to Primate but a dropkick sends him into the corner for the tag back to Boar. The Hunt is knocked outside by a springboard elbow and some dives have them down as well. Back in and Boar sends Williams flying towards the camera to take over.
The Hunt pounds Williams down in the corner and Boar adds a headbutt for a bonus. The face pulling is on but W..
