WWE legend Brock Lesnar, known as “The Beast Incarnate,” made known on The Pat McAfee Show earlier over the past week that he is officially done with professional wrestling for quality.
This announcement follows Lesnar’s loss to Oba Femi in a Hell in a Cell Clash at concluding weekend’s SummerSlam Night One Premium Live Premium live event. Meanwhile, after the match, Lesnar declared Femi as “The Ruler” and the future of WWE, signaling his departure from the ring.
WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, who has shared the ring with Lesnar numerous times throughout his successful career, took to his Twitter (X) account to post several pictures of himself and Lesnar from the past. Triple H also expressed his gratitude to Lesnar for his significant contributions to both WWE and the world of professional wrestling.
Triple H wrote, “Thank you, Brock!”
Lesnar and Triple H had a heated hostilities during Lesnar’s second stint with WWE in the early 2010s. They faced off in a No Disqualification Encounter at SummerSlam 2012, where Lesnar forced Triple H to tap out and broke his arm in the process.
Their rivalry continued with two more matches: a No Holds Barred Encounter at WrestleMania 29, which Triple H captured to save his career. A rubber match inside a Steel Cage at Extreme Rules 2013, which Lesnar won to conclude their war of words.
