Shinsuke Nakamura to WWE update

Shinsuke Nakamura who was signed by the WWE in the beginning of this year has finished up his NJPW commitments this past Saturday. Nakamura will be reporting to the WWE Performance Center this week to begin his transition to the company.

Billy Gunn Fired from WWE

WWE has fired Billy Gunn, who is also a trainer at the WWE Performance Center, due to testing positive for elevated levels of testosterone last July in a power-lifting competition.

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter WWE were not even aware of his involvement in power-lifting competitions until just a few weeks ago. Also, his drug test came up with a testosterone to epitestosterone ratio of 37-1 which is well over the 4-1 limit.

Billy Gunn was one of the three coaches on this year’s WWE Tough Enough along with Booker T and Lita. In addition to being a trainer at Performance Center and being involved in Tough Enough, Gunn was also an agent and helped produce segments and matches for RAW.
