WATCH: The Firefly Fun House Returns On SmackDown

The trip continues. Back at Extreme Rules 2022, Bray Wyatt made his return to WWE, revealing himself to be the White Rabbit after weeks of speculation. Once Wyatt was back though, the question became what is he supposed to do now. That is the tricky part, as Wyatt is one of the most complicated stars in all of WWE. A few months have passed and we might have a better idea, but now things have taken another twist. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Glow On? Details On Naomi’s Current WWE Status, Possible Future Last week on SmackDown, Wyatt said that he was the Eater of Worlds, referring back to his original persona. This week, Wyatt returned in the Firefly Fun House, complete with all of his puppet characters. This was the first Fun House since 2021 and there is no word on if there will be more of them going forward. No more? We are in the middle of a weird time in WWE, as all kinds of things continue to change. You never know what kind of thing is going to happen next at the moment, with most of the changes taking place behind the scenes. At the same time though, there are changes taking place with various storylines. Now we seem to have seen another big change, as WWE may have dropped something cold. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Who’s Up Next: New WWE Tournament Announced To Crown #1 Contenders This week on SmackDown, Bray Wyatt made an appearance and sat in the middle of the ring in his rocking chair. Wyatt used several of his old catchphrases, including calling himself the Eater of Worlds. He also said that HE is Uncle Howdy and told LA Knight to “run” at the Royal Rumble, in another of his former signature lines. They’re on the way back. We are less than a month away from the Royal Rumble and that means it is time to start getting the names together for the show’s namesake matches. With sixty names between two matches, WWE is going to need to beef up its rosters rather quickly. That can involve bringing in some more names and that is what they announced this week. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: She’s All Gone Now: More Details On Stephanie McMahon Leaving WWE (Again) Two upcoming returns were announced this week during NXT. First up, Tyler Bate announced that he would be returning on the January 17 episode. Bate was last seen at Worlds Collide, losing a title unification match to Bron Breakker. Later in the show, Stevie Turner, from NXT UK, aired a video announcing that she was now streaming and described herself as the resident data collector. There is no word on when she will be debuting. While there is always the chance that something could change at the last minute, Banks seems to be heading over to New Japan Pro Wrestling, ending her ten year tenure with the company. Now we might know an important detail that led to the two sides splitting. WWE Faces Possible Scheduling Conflict With Its Upcoming Premium Live Event

It’s a busy night. WWE has dominated the wrestling world for decades and has long since had a tight grip on almost anything that takes place. Things have changed a bit in recent years though, as promotions are now able to present their own events on large stages as well. That is going to be the case in December, but WWE might be wanting some of the same space on the same day. This week on AEW Dynamite, an announcement was made that Ring Of Honor Final Battle 2022 will take place on December 10. According to Fightful Select, WWE will be presenting an NXT premium live event on the same day, though it is not clear if the two events will take place at the same time. Final Battle is scheduled to take place at 4pm EST. In September, NXT presented its Worlds Collide event on the same day as AEW All Out. Wedding bells will soon be ringing! NXT superstar Mandy Rose recently announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend and former NXT superstar Tito Sabbatelli.
