This can cause some rather abrupt endings for teams, as they seemingly go from happy to split in a matter of days. Something similar has happened again in NXT as a team that only started having troubles a few weeks ago have now split up. Double shot. We are just over three weeks away from WrestleMania 39 and that means it is time to start getting ready for the most important card of the year. WWE has started putting together a bunch of the matches on the show with several already having been announced. There are still a lot to go though, and now we might be seeing some wrestlers in multiple matches. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: They’re In: How Two NXT Stars Confirmed Their Romantic Relationship According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the current plan for WrestleMania 39 calls for Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler to challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Titles. However, the current champions, Lita and Becky Lynch, are already set for a six woman tag where they will team with Trish Stratus against Damage CTRL. That would be Elimination Chamber, which is going to need quite the lineup of its own. This week on Monday Night Raw, Lita made a surprise return to help Becky Lynch defeat Bayley, who had Damage Ctrl assisting her. Soon after, a report came out saying that this was to set up a six woman tag at Elimination Chamber, also involving Trish Stratus. That’s a long, long time. We are in a time of change in WWE and there are all kinds of pieces moving at once. That can make it difficult to keep track of what is going on, but it is clear that this is not the same WWE that we have known for a long time. This includes names leaving, and now another not so familiar name is leaving the company after a quarter century. Hopkins started with the company back in 1997 and has held a variety of jobs, including Manager of Media Relations, Director of Communications, Public Relations Coordinator and several others.
