Monday Night Raw, SmackDown And NXT Stars Changing Places Next Week
Maybe just a visit? There has been a lot more crossover between the three WWE rosters in recent months and it has offered several new opportunities for the stars. They are now allowed to work with different people and get a fresh place to go, at least for a little while. Now we are going to be seeing it again, with a pair of stars making cameos on another roster. This week on NXT, a pair of announcements were made, saying that Cora Jade would appear on Monday Night Raw and Roxanne Perez will appear on SmackDown. In addition, the two will pick each other’s opponents, from the same main rosters respectively, for a match on next week’s NXT. There is nothing to suggest that the appearances will be anything more than one offs. Opinion: This is something that should work out well for both of them as just getting their feet wet on the main roster is always a nice thing to see. A New Endeavor: Backstage News On Why Two Wrestlers Are Going On Hiatus
They’re trying something else. Wrestlers have a weird situation when it comes to acting. While they are acting in front of the camera, they are only seen as wrestlers, meaning they do not have many opportunities in mainstream acting roles. Some wrestlers are able to pull it off though and now two more successful wrestlers are going to try their hand at a different form of entertainment. Earlier this week, the IInspiration (Cassie Lee/Jesse McKay) announced that they will be taking a hiatus from the ring for the time being. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the word backstage at this week’s Impact Wrestling TV taping is the team is hoping to try their hands at acting. Longtime Pair Seem To Split At AEW Revolution
It took long enough. There are all kinds of ways to present a story in wrestling and one of the most interesting is when you pair a few people together. That opens up all kinds of opportunities for stories to tell, some of which can take their time. One of the more common ways to go is to have the two split up and that might be what we saw this weekend on a big stage. One of the featured matches at this weekend’s AEW Revolution pay per view saw CM Punk vs. Maxwell Jacob Friedman in a dog collar match. Late in the match, Friedman called for his bodyguard Wardlow to bring him the Dynamite Diamond Ring. Wardlow came to ringside but did not have the ring, saying he couldn’t find it. After Punk took Friedman out, Wardlow produced the ring, saying that it was in the other pocket, which allowed Punk to knock Friedman out with it for the win. It’s a unique honor. Wrestlers exist in a weird place when it comes to celebrity status. They are on television almost every week, but even then they are only known as wrestlers. That is not something that lends itself to mainstream exposure, but every now and then you see someone make it over the hill and into the next stage. Sometimes that can come with some unique opportunities and that seems to be the case again. WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has announced that he will be starring in his own comic book. The book, titles Kishi and the Island of Dreams, will be released at some point in summer 2022. Rikishi will have a say in the creative direction of the story though he will not be writing it. Update On Samoa Joe’s WWE Status, Possibly Switching To A New Role
It’s another career path. Wrestlers have some limited options when it comes to getting out of the industry. While some are able to retire, there are others who do not have the greatest list of opportunities so they are forced to stay in the ring long after they probably should have hung up their boots. There are other chances available for some though and now we might be seeing one wrestler try something new. WWE held tryouts for this week in Orlando, Florida in an attempt to find new stars for the company. Former NXT Champion Samoa Joe was seen at the camp, scouting talent and taking notes on potential signings. This comes after Joe has not been seen since September, when he vacated the NXT Title due to an undisclosed injury. One more time? WWE has been around for such a long time that it can be easy to forget some of the wrestlers who have been around over the years. There are probably a few names that you have forgotten over the years, which makes for some interesting moments when you hear from them again. AEW Star Joining The Cast Of New Reality Series
Give him a shot. Wrestlers can get a weird reputation when it comes to acting. Some of them certainly have skills, but at the same time, a lot of them are only going to be able to get so far. That does not mean there are not opportunities for wrestlers in such a field, and now a fairly new wrestler is going to be getting the chance to show what he can do outside of the ring. E has announced that AEW’s Austin Gunn, the son of Billy Gunn, will be part of the cast of Relatively Famous: Ranch Rules, a new reality series. The show will see children of celebrities working on a ranch for thirty days in an attempt to get out of the shadow of their more famous parents. It comes with the title. Being the WWE Champion is one of the top honors in all of the wrestling world. A good chunk of past champions are all time great names and some of the biggest stars in the history of wrestling. It means a lot to be champion but it also brings a lot of new opportunities. More Details On WWE Egg Angle, WWE Made A LOT Of Money
What could have been. As a major company, WWE’s main underlying goal is to make money. That is the kind of thing that can be difficult in different situations but there are some opportunities that the company has which can be quite lucrative. That was on display last week, and now we know a bit more about why WWE went with one of the stories they chose. Vince McMahon appeared at Survivor Series, carrying a golden egg. Over the rest of the show and Monday Night Raw, McMahon would reveal that the egg was a gift from the Rock valued at $100 million. The angle was product placement from the Netflix film Red Notice, though according to Fightful Select, this was not the original plan. The earlier ideas would see much lower stakes, including the possibility of the 24/7 Title being the focus. Eventually McMahon was added to appease Netflix. There isn’t room for everyone. Various wrestlers have been moving around the industry as of late with all kinds of them going from one promotion to another. That can make for some interesting moves, as wrestlers are suddenly getting opportunities that they never have before. It turns out that one wrestler is not going to get another opportunity that he has gotten before. Buddy Matthews, formerly known as Buddy Murphy, was one of the dozens of wrestlers who were released from WWE earlier this year. WWE RUMOR: Monday Night Raw Star Requests Release
So long again? WWE has been undergoing a lot of changes over the course of the year and a lot of that has been due to moves being made on the roster. This has included a lot of wrestlers leaving the promotion for one reason or another, some of which have not been voluntary. This time around though, another wrestler may be on their way out and by his own choice. According to MasLucha.com, Monday Night Raw star Gran Metalik has requested his release from WWE over not having enough opportunities or a clear path on the roster. Metalik’s current deal expires in 2023 and he has been with WWE since 2016, losing in the finals of the Cruiserweight Classic.
