Fuego Del Sol Buys His Own Wrestling Ring to Train for Bigger AEW Matches
As people outside of the big promotions like AEW, we often forget that we see these performers for maybe 30 mins of television time per week, which could be much less for underutilized talents. If you compare this to the standard 40 hour work week, we’re seeing so little of what actually goes into becoming a star in the wrestling business.
For instance, Fuego Del Sol has been training extensively despite limited appearances on AEW programming over the course of 2022. He took to Twitter on Thursday to share his progress and goals into improving his craft as well as being prepared for any future opportunities.
I bought a wrestling ring to take my in ring training to another level.
Developed a new gym discipline. Working out 6 days a week and already see a difference in my body!
Wrestling on the indies more so I stay ring ready and prepared for bigger AEW matches.
Confidence way up! https://t.co/3rt9qzaiMn

During an exchange on Twitter, Fuego also emphasized, “I have a plan, and I am confident that I can navigate and still break through.”
According to CageMatch.net, Fuego Del Sol recently took part in a six man tag team match during an episode of AEW Dark in late October. He was also featured in quick matches against Luchasaurus and Lee Moriarty during an episode of Dynamite and Rampage, respectively.

Fuego wrestled more than 65 matches in 2021 (recorded by CageMatch). His 2022 continued to see good work until a mouth infection put him on the sidelines for six months. Fuego Del Sol would return to defeat El Tirano during the New Era Wrestling Sun City Showdown in early October. He’d also return to WWE programming in a losing effort to QT Marshall on AEW Dark on Nov. 6th.
Back from injury and training hard for new opportunities, Fuego Del Sol remains one of the names to watch in AEW heading into 2023. His character still has unfinished business with The House of Black. Stay tuned to see what comes next.
