Unfortunately there is no way around something like this and the question becomes how long it will be before they are able to come back. WWE may have dropped a hint about one such upcoming return. WWE has released a new photo gallery featuring images of wrestlers supporting their nations teams for the FIFA World Cup. One such photo includes Bobby Roode representing his native Canada. Roode also had a SmackDown logo behind his picture, indicating that he is still part of the SmackDown roster. Roode has not wrestled since June 25 and underwent surgery in September. The variety has allowed for some different combinations and the showcasing of different stars that you might not have ever seen before. One of the biggest international stories of the week has been the collapse of Boris Johnson’s government in the United Kingdom. This included the resignations of over sixty members of Parliament, including Michelle Donelan, who was named Secretary of State for Education, only to resign in protest of Johnson about thirty six hours later. That’s pretty awesome. There are all kinds of things that a wrestler can do outside of the ring and a lot of the time, it is something that can help others in need. A wrestler often has enough celebrity status to make something good happen and that is the case with one of WWE’s international stars. Not only have they done something very good, but now they have done it again. WWE star Sami Zayn has announced that his SamiForSyria charity has launched its second mobile medical unit. The units are designed to offer free of charge medical care for those displaced by the Syrian civil war. Zayn has promoted the idea since 2017, asking fans for donations to fund the units as well as their upkeep. WWE Morale Reportedly Down Backstage Due To Issues With The Royal Rumble

Is anyone writing this stuff down? There are a lot of moving parts to any WWE event and the Royal Rumble might be the most complicated of them all. When a show has so many people involved in a pair of matches, it is going to take some special planning to make everything work out. Not having things work out well can cause quite the mess and unfortunately that seems to be the case again this year. According to PWInsider.com, WWE’s backstage morale is down after this weekend’s Royal Rumble. The frustration came from the amount of changes made to the card, which were blamed for the quality of the event being seen as poor. This included about twenty changes to the men’s Royal Rumble over the course of the week, including eliminations, the order of the entrants and how the wrestlers would compete during the match. More Details On Drew McIntyre’s Neck Injury And Possible Future

That could be worse. There are a lot of ways a wrestler can get injured, but some of them are issues that build up over time. That can create a serious problem as you do not know how long they can go without getting some sort of treatment. Unfortunately, that seems to be the case again with a top WWE star, who might be out of action for a rather long time to come. Last week at WWE Day One, Drew McIntyre was attacked by Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss, with the injuries being used to write McIntyre off of television due to a neck injury. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, McIntyre’s neck issues have been going on for months now. WWE is hoping to avoid McIntyre undergoing major neck surgery and will have him undergo examinations over the course of the next week. New Tournament Kicks Off This Week On Monday Night Raw

It’s a big part of the company. Wrestling and video games really are kind of a perfect match. Fans can play as any wrestler they want and beat up anyone else on the roster, with a crazy amount of combinations available. Several WWE Releases May Be Due To Coronavirus Vaccination Status

That’s a reason. The Coronavirus pandemic has shaken up the world in a lot of ways and there are a lot of things that still are not quite the same. It has made for some rather terrible situations, including the amount of people who have gotten sick or even died during the pandemic. Various vaccinations have managed to slow things down a lot, but now they might have caused a problem in the wrestling world. Earlier this week, WWE released nearly twenty wrestlers from the company, with the explanation being a series of budget cuts. However, according to the New York Post, at least one wrestler was released due to their Coronavirus vaccination status, including Nia Jax. According to Fightful Select, there could have been five wrestlers released due to their vaccination status, though no names were included. Data Breach Reveals Crazy Income For Wrestlers Streaming On Twitch

They’re doing ok. There have been a lot of changes in WWE as of late and some of them have gone a bit forgotten. Last year, WWE issued a new policy saying that their wrestlers would no longer be allowed to operate third party platforms, including Twitch streams. Instead, WWE would take the accounts over and the wrestlers would receive a portion of the revenue. Several wrestlers were unhappy with this and now we might know why. According to the BBC, Twitch suffered a data breech this week, revealing tons of information about the platform. This includes a list of the income made by several wrestlers, as well as Impact Wrestling’s Twitch channel. The revenue listed covers a period from September 2019 – September 2021 and does not include any sponsorships or donations the streamers might gain as well. WWE Considered Bringing Back Surprising Stable

What could have been. There have been all kinds of stables over the years in wrestling and some of them have been rather popular in their days. Above all else, a stable can do well when there is a common theme between the members. Some of them are better than others, and the good ones are rarely rehashes of previous editions. WWE avoided making a similar mistake. During a recent Highspots interview, former WWE star Mojo Rawley revealed that WWE was considering a reformation of the League of Nations. The idea would have seen Rawley teaming with Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro while serving as the group’s mouthpiece. This concept never came to pass though and Rawley was paired with Rob Gronkowski for WrestleMania 36 instead.
