And Done: AEW Stable Officially Disbands

That’s one less. Stables have been a common factor in wrestling for a very long time now as they are a concept that makes sense. Having a stable allows for several wrestlers to be able to get television time at once, often through a shared goal or characteristic. Occasionally you will also see wrestlers who are thrown together with nothing else to do, and now we are seeing one such stable go their separate ways. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: WWE And AEW Stars Reunite In New Music Video AEW’s QT Marshall has announced that the Factory, his AEW stable, has disbanded, citing hate from “experts” in wrestling. Marshall said to keep an eye on the members of the team, including Lee Johnson, Cole Karter, Aaron Solo and Nick Comoroto. There is no word on any backstage reason for the team being disbanded and nothing to suggest that any member is gone from the promotion. We did some fun stuff. Unfortunately, the amount of Factory hate from the “experts” in wrestling was too much and the group ..

The Factory was formed on the March 31, 2021 episode of Dynamite, when Marshall, along with Anthony Ogogo, Nick Comoroto and Aaron Solow attacked The Nightmare Family. Editor’s Opinion: Let’s see…the company breaks up a stable because certain “experts” don’t like..

By Association: Eric Bischoff Explains How Another Wrestler Cost Bobby Lashley His Job

That’s a serious issue. With so many wrestlers coming through the doors of various promotions over the years, there have been all kinds of reasons for wrestlers leaving the company. This could range from common to oddly specific and happen to almost all kinds of different names. There have been many big names who have left the company for one reason or another and now we know something about about one of the bigger surprises. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: LOOK: WWE Teases Popular Stable Reunion On Monday Night Raw Bobby Lashley made his Impact Wrestling (then TNA Wrestling) debut in 2009 but was released from the company in January of the following year. Cassidy takes so long setting up the big punch that Marshall falls down. The ..

38 Year Old Former WWE Star Wants To Return To WWE After 15 Year Break

So she’s in. There have been a lot of returns to WWE in recent months with names coming from out of nowhere after some rather long hiatuses. Seeing these stars come back has been quite the game changer for WWE as it leaves fans wondering who might be back next. Now another former WWE star is throwing her name out there for what would be one heck of a surprise return. In a new interview with Just Alyx, former WWE star Kristal Marshall said that she would love to make a WWE return, even if it is just for one more match. While Marshall, 38, has not wrestled since since 2013, she said that she is in the best shape of her life. There is no word on if WWE is interested in bringing Marshall back. Marshall worked for WWE from 2005-2007 as a wrestler and backstage interviewer before appearing for Impact Wrestling in 2009-2010. Opinion: I don’t know if I can see WWE bringing Marshall back in, even for a one off match, but there is something interesting about the fact that WWE has brought in so..

Hangman Adam Page Seriously Injured on AEW Dynamite

You hate to see it. The main event of tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured Jon Moxley defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Hangman Adam Page. Unfortunately, the match had to be stopped due to a serious injury suffered by Page during the match. Page landed on his head after a spot in which he took a lariat from Moxley. As soon as Page hit the ground, his body seemed to go limp and he wasn’t able to move. The referee and ringside doctor, Doc Sampson made the decision to stop the match with about 10 minutes remaining on the show. During a commercial break, several officials took down the ropes in order to take out Page on a stretcher. You can see a clip of that below: They are literally taking the ropes down to take hangman Adam page out of the ring on a stretcher. #AEWDynamite pic.twitter.com/9hwcUQSAuK — Marshall Lloyd ? The main event is for the Interim AEW World Title as CM Punk being stripped of the title was off the table. Other than that, we have a series of title matches which should make for a great show. Let’s get to it. Buy-In: Hirooki Goto/Yoshi-Hashi vs. QT Marshall/Aaron Solo Solo and Hashi start things off with Hashi working on a headlock. A running shoulder drops Solo again so it’s off to Marshall vs. Goto, with the latter knocking Marshall around without much trouble. Everything breaks down and Marshall’s cartwheel tumbling dive drops Goto and Hashi. ..

Here’s Why Lacey Evans Did Not Appear On Monday Night Raw, Evans’ Funny Response

That’s a valid excuse? There are a lot of criticisms to be made about WWE and one of the bigger problems is that the company does not present a lot of the things that they advertise. This might be a segment or a match but it is rare to see a reason given for the change. It was the case again this week, and now we have a reason why, along with an official response. WWE had announced that Lacey Evans would be making her return this week on Monday Night Raw but Evans did not appear on the show, with no explanation or mention of Evans given. According to PWInsider.com, WWE decided to send Evans to the Coca Cola 600 NASCAR race on Sunday night as its Grand Marshall and she was unable to return in time for Monday Night Raw. Evans posted a tweet showing herself recovering from posing at the race, including icing down her biceps. What happens when you stay flexin?? GRAND MARSHAL duties got me laid up. @nascaronfox @wwe @cocacola @nascar it's all your fault!!!!! ?? pic.twitter.com/ZslTFa..

AEW Revolution 2022 Preview, Predictions And Thoughts

It’s back to the pay per view schedule for AEW and that is a great thing to hear. AEW has a pretty awesome track record for pay per views and there is a good chance that it will do the same here. This time is a bit different though as there is a staggering twelve match card with three matches taking place on the Buy In. The positive thing is that the matches look good, but dang that is a lot. Let’s get to it. Buy-In: QT Marshall vs. Hook We’ll start off with one of the fun ones here as Hook has taken AEW by storm in his still short career. What seemed to start off as little more than a big joke has turned into a pretty great run from Hook, who has smashed a variety of people without overstaying his welcome once. I believe this will be his first live match though and that could make for a new challenge. He has been sent: [This post contains video, click to play] I mean, I say challenge as seriously as it can be meant as it’s Marshall across the ring from him, meaning Hook wins this ..

AEW Wrestlers Refute Recent Report On Cody Rhodes

That doesn’t sound great. AEW has had a huge impact on the wrestling world and has done so under a very different method. While President Tony Khan seems to have the final say on just about everything, there are a group of wrestlers with quite a bit of authority of their own. However, there is a report that one of them might not be the friendliest backstage. Now some wrestlers are disagreeing with what was said. Earlier this week, PW Torch reported that AEW Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes is not as approachable with the rest of the roster as CM Punk. After the report was published, several AEW wrestlers have come to Rhodes’ defense, including QT Marshall, Fuego del Sol, Preston Vance and more. All of them spoke about how Rhodes has helped them and offered advice when needed. PW Torch has not responded to the wrestlers’ comments. Idk who gives Wade his info! “Unlike Cody” … I wish Cody was unapproachable. So when he’s filming one of his 30 tv shows, I’d have his locker room in p..

Why AEW All Out Almost Looked Very Different Last Night

That would have been different. Pay per view is usually the be all and end all in wrestling as the shows are often the most important parts of a wrestling calendar. You will see the biggest names in their most prominent matches and the whole thing feels that much bigger. That was the case this weekend, but you almost saw a different card than what was originally planned. Sunday’s AEW All Out 2021 card featured Paul Wight defeating QT Marshall in a match that barely broke three minutes but was held just before the main event. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the match was in that spot due to concerns that the show could run long. Had the previous matches run longer, Marshall vs. Wight could have been cut from the card entirely. There was a road to the match. Check out how it was set up: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: This could have been a bit embarrassing for AEW but t..

WATCH: Turn And Return Take Place During AEW Dynamite

The more things change. There are all kinds of talented wrestlers on the AEW roster and you never know when one of them is going to be given their big chance. The roster is a great mixture of veterans, current stars and up and comers, all of whom are often given a shot by AEW. That seems to be the case again, as two big moments took place this week on television. A turn and a return took place during this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite. First up, Billy Gunn, and possible the rest of the Gunn Club, turned heel by attacking Paul Wight. The Gunn Club had run to the ring to help Wight fight off the Factory, only to have Billy attack Wight with a chair. This included shots to the head and hip, while QT Marshall looked on, seemingly not knowing the attack was coming. Later in the show, Anna Jay made her return to the company following a five month layoff due to shoulder surgery. Following Tay Conti’s victory over Penelope Ford, the Bunny and Ford attacked Conti in the ring. Jay ran in for ..

Wrestling Legend Making AEW In-Ring Debut At All Out

Welcome back. There are certain wrestlers who are going to get your attention for one reason or another. This might be something that jumps off the page to you the second you see them, which can often make guarantee them at least a shot for a long time. If they have something to back it up, they are going to be an even bigger star. That was on display this week. This week on AEW Dynamite, Paul Wight, formerly known as the Big Show in WWE, announced that he would be facing QT Marshall at All Out on September 5. This will be Wight’s first match in AEW and his first match of any kind since July 2020. The match came about after Wight saved Tony Schiavone’s son from an attack at the hands of Marshall and the rest of the Nightmare Factory. Wight made his AEW debut in February 2021 and has served as the color analyst on AEW Dark: Elevation. Since his debut, Wight has said that he planned to wrestle for AEW at some point in the future. Wight is a former seven time World Champion, winning Wor..

VIDEO: Paul Wight (Big Show) Makes Surprise Save On AEW Dynamite

He’s back. AEW has changed the way the wrestling world works as there is now another major promotion with a lot of money and a good television slot. The promotion is able to offer wrestlers something they have not had in a very long time: another place to go besides WWE. Several former WWE stars have appeared in AEW, and one of them did something big this week. During this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, QT Marshall and the Nightmare Factory attacked Tony Schiavone’s son while holding Schiavone himself back. As a result, Paul Wight, Schiavone’s broadcast partner on AEW Dark: Elevation, came out to save Schiavone, including a chokeslam to Aaron Solow. This is the first time Wight has gotten physical in AEW, though he has not been announced for a match. It was a big moment. Check out the debut plus Wight’s time in AEW and elsewhere: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: This is the ki..

AEW Star Says He Lied To Shaquille O’Neal To Set Up Table Spot

That might not have been wise. Celebrities have been a part of the wrestling world for decades now and that will be the case for a long time to come. It makes sense to bring starts from outside the wrestling world into the bubble, if nothing else just to see how they react. It can be even better if they have an athletic background of their own, but one instance might have included a mistake. During an interview with Digital Spy, AEW’s QT Marshall said that he lied to Shaquille O’Neal in order to get him to go through a table. Marshall said O’Neal had mentioned the possibility of going through a table so Marshall told him there would be a pad underneath. O’Neal did go through a table during his match on the March 3 edition of AEW Dynamite, with Marshall claiming that O’Neal yelled at him after the match. There is no word on if O’Neal will appear for AEW again. He didn’t seem to mind. Check out O’Neal’s time in AEW, including the match: [This post contains video, click to play] [Thi..

WATCH: AEW Star Gets Engaged In The Ring

That’s just special. Wrestlers are an interesting group as they are out there on television every single week, trying to convince us that what they are doing is real. That is a lot harder than it sounds, as wrestlers are indeed playing characters with real and different lives. Sometimes you get to see their lives on display in the ring, which was the case in a nice moment over the weekend. Over the weekend at an MCW Pro Wrestling event, AEW’s Nick Comoroto came to the ring where his girlfriend, Becky, was standing. After praising several things about her, Comoroto proposed to Becky, who was working as a referee at the event. Becky said yes to Comoroto and the event continued, with MCW Pro posting a video of the event. Comoroto currently wrestles for AEW as part of QT Marshall’s Nightmare Factory stable. Comoroto is a heck of a prospect. Check out the proposal and what he has done in AEW: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, click to play] [This pos..
