WATCH: WWE Releases Never Before Seen Roman Reigns Match
Open the vault. WWE has been around for decades now and during their time, they have acquired several video libraries. As a result, WWE owns by far the biggest collection of wrestling footage in history with nothing coming close to it. This allows them to release almost anything they like whenever they choose, and now they are letting you see another match you have probably never seen before. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Farewell? Wrestling Legend: “I’m Getting Too Old For This S***” This week on The Bump, a never before released match between King Corbin and Roman Reigns was aired. The match took place following the February 28, 2022 SmackDown in Boston, Massachusetts. Corbin and his manager John Bradshaw Layfield did commentary from the Bump studios, along with hosts Matt Camp and Kayla Braxton. WATCH: Kayla Braxton NAILS IT In Latest WWE Halloween Costume
The tradition continues. Wrestlers are a lot of things but at the end of the day they are performers. They spend a long time getting to the point where they can do what they do at such a high level, including mastering their characters. Figuring them out can be rather difficult, but it can be quite the compliment when someone else figures them out almost as well. Over the last few years, Kayla Braxton has dressed as Paul Heyman and Sami Zayn for Halloween. WWE’s The Bump Instagram page has posted a video of Braxton and an unidentified person dressed as the Usos for this year’s Halloween. The two have Uso hats, painted on bears and a pair of title belts each. There is no word on if this will be mentioned on WWE TV. This is pretty impressive. I’d call it a feud. Wrestling is built around the idea of having fans put their money down to see people get into a fight with one emerging victorious. That has been the way the industry works for decades and it is still the case to this day. Some feuds are a little more serious than others though and now a slightly less intense one is getting a new stage after a pretty long hiatus. Back in October 2021, WWE backstage correspondent Kayla Braxton dressed up as Sami Zayn for Halloween and impersonated him on Talking Smack. Earlier this week, Braxton asked who she should be for Halloween this year, prompting a response from Zayn, saying he held grudges. Braxton responded by posting a photo of herself in Zayn’s Honorary Uce shirt and asking “how about now?”. It’s kind of complicated. Welcome back. There are a lot of wrestlers on the WWE roster but some of them are a lot bigger than others. Some of these wrestlers are legends in their own time and have been along for a very long time. That is the kind of thing you do not get to see very often, but next week, we will be seeing not just one of them, but two making their returns in a single week. Major Update On Brock Lesnar’s WWE Return
Welcome back. There are certain wrestlers that you are going to notice no matter what they are doing. These wrestlers are often the larger than life characters who can command attention just based on their presence or physical aspects alone. You don’t get to see many of them, but that might be changing soon as one of the bigger names seems to be on his way back. Last month, Brock Lesnar was suspended from WWE due to attacking Roman Reigns and Adam Pearce and destroying a television camera in the process. WWE executive Adam Pearce ordered the suspension, but this weekend at Survivor Series, Kayla Braxton revealed that the suspension had ended. MMA Fighter Slams Her AEW Appearance, Calls Wrestling “So Stupid”
I guess she isn’t a fan. Wrestling is in a weird place when it comes to athletics. While it is certainly an athletic field, it is not exactly the same as traditional sports. The endings to wrestling matches are determined in advance and that is something that a lot of people are not going to like. It seems to be the case with a more mainstream athlete who appeared on a recent wrestling show. One of the bigger stories taking place in AEW at the moment is the rivalry between Dan Lambert and the American Top Team mixed martial arts fighters and the Inner Circle. Several mixed martial artists have appeared in the angle, including Kayla Harrison. However, in an interview with Jim Varsallone, Harrison has said that she will not be back, saying that fighters who keep going back to wrestling are “yahoos” and described wrestling as “so stupid” and “so silly”. VIDEO: Intense Moment Takes Place On Talking Smack
She isn’t happy. There was quite the surprise on this week’s edition of SmackDown as Zelina Vega made a return to WWE television after an eight month absence. Vega was added to the Money In The Bank ladder match and would go on to face Liv Morgan in a losing effort. Her night was not over though as she had a bit of an encounter with a surprising opponent. Vega was a guest on this week’s edition of Talking Smack and got into an argument with host Kayla Braxton. During the interview, Braxton brought up Vega losing the match with Morgan, but Vega brushed it off and threatened to slap her. WATCH: Paul Heyman Can’t Get A Word Out Of Apollo Crews
I guess not. With so many wrestlers on the WWE roster, it can be difficult to find something for everyone to do. Sometimes you need to mix things up a bit to find something new for them and that can cause some issues. Every now and then, these changes can be for the better and that seemed to be the case this week on SmackDown, but the followup might be a little strange. One of the bigger stories to come out of this week’s edition of SmackDown was Apollo Crews attacking Big E. and Shinsuke Nakamura after Nakamura defeated Crews in a match. The attack came after Big E. had denied Crews another Intercontinental Title shot and told Crews to return to catering and have a seat. As a result, Crews attacked Nakamura and then used the steps to take Big E. out, even putting him on the shelf for a bit according to Kayla Braxton on Talking Smack.
