Update on Nikki & Brie Garcia’s Wrestling Future

It came from the source. It had been previously reported that the Bella Twins were officially leaving WWE for good and had rebranded themselves as Nikki and Brie Garcia. One of the main questions that has risen is the wrestling future, particularly when it comes to AEW. That question was answered today on Instagram Live, where Nikki confirmed that her and her sister would not be going to AEW. You can see a clip of that below: Nikki and Brie Garcia are not going to AEW. pic.twitter.com/PkzCosyUER — Wrestling News (@WrestlingNewsCo) March 15, 2023 Garcia also mentioned that there was fan speculation that things have soured between both them and WWE. She said it seems that way because of “everything in the past” but there are no hard feelings. Editor’s Opinion: I’ll take the Garcias at their word, as they have absolutely no reason to taint their legacy by going to AEW. That being said, it wouldn’t surprise me if Tony Khan threw a bunch of money at them to get a major pop for one nig..

AEW Revolution 2023 Preview, Predictions And Thoughts

It’s Revolution and things are not exactly feeling hot coming into the show. The main event is a sixty minute Iron Man match with Bryan Danielson challenging MJF for the World Title, which means there won’t be as much time for the usual deep card this time. Other than that, we have Hangman Page vs. Jon Moxley in a Texas Death Match and Christian Cage vs. Jungle Boy in what seems to be a Buried Alive match. Let’s get to it. Zero Hour: Mark Briscoe/Lucha Bros vs. Ari Daivari/Varsity Athletes The Mark Briscoe vs. Mark Sterling and company feud continues for reasons I don’t think I follow. Briscoe also has some new friends in the Lucha Bros and that means we could be in for a new trio. The division could certainly use them, but for now they have to get rid of something like this, as AEW is giving them a nice spot to get their feet wet as a three man team. Of course I’ll take Briscoe and the Bros here, as there is no reason to suggest that Daivari and company will ever be winning anything..

WATCH: WWE Superstar Continues To Show Change In Attitude

To the other side. With so much television time to fill in WWE, it can be easy for some of the company’s stars to start feeling stale. At some point a change needs to be made and that can be accomplished in a few different ways. One of the easiest is to turn someone either from good to bad or vice versa, and it seems that we saw that take place earlier this week. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: It Fits: Important Details On Next WWE Event In Saudi Arabia, Possible AEW Competition Following the February 10 SmackDown, WWE released a video of Santos Escobar and Rey Mysterio backstage after they both took part in a fatal four way. The two talked about respect and exchanged masks. This week, the two were backstage when Rhea Ripley and Rey’s son Dominik interrupted and insulted Rey. Escobar defended Rey and seemed to set up a match with Dominik. This would indicate that Escobar is moving further towards a full babyface turn, which would be a first in his WWE career. There is no word on what this wo..

All For One? More Details On WWE’s Interest In Signing Kenny Omega

It’s a little complicated. The rise of AEW has changed a lot of things in the wrestling world, as there is now another large scale wrestling promotion where stars can go. That is the kind of thing that has been lacking in wrestling for a very long time now but things can go in the opposite way too. Wrestlers are going to leave AEW at some point and now we have some more details about that possibly taking place. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Discusses Introducing New Star For Major NXT Angle The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has more details on WWE’s interest in signing Kenny Omega. While Omega signed a four year deal with AEW on February 1, 2019, there is a chance his deal was extended due to missing nine months with various injuries. If AEW adds on the full amount of time that Omega missed, he would not be able to begin negotiations with WWE, or any other promotion, until November. Omega and the Young Bucks are all represented by Barry Bloom and the feeling is they w..

On The Bad List: WWE Star Reveals She Is “Beat Up”, Possibly Out Of Action

That could slow her down. Wrestling is a physical sport and there is always the chance that someone is going to get banged up in one way or another. At times those problems are going to cause someone to miss some time from the ring, or at least possibly need to. That is the situation again, and now a WWE Superstar is waiting to see what she is allowed to do this week. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: D’Oh! Local WWE Advertisement Seems To Spoil Major Angle Natalya participated in the women’s Elimination Chamber on Saturday night. She has since posted to Twitter, revealing that she is feeling “a little beat up” after the match but promised that she will be at SmackDown. Shayna Baszler responded to Natalya, mocking her for being injured again and being upset over not being able to challenge Natalya for a match this week. Natalya responded as well, saying she’ll have to see what the medical team says she can do. Feeling a little beat up this week after Elimination Chamber, but I would go through..

Not So Much: Update On Backstage Atmosphere In WWE With Sale Looming

It’s a weird time. Earlier this year, Vince McMahon returned to WWE in a surprise move, ending his retirement from the company after about six months. McMahon returned to oversee a sale of the company, which is expected to take place in the next few months. That is going to be the biggest change WWE has ever seen, and now we know a bit more about what that has meant so far. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: She’s Out: Very Unique Reason For WWE Star Missing Monday Night Raw This Week According to PWInsider Elite, the backstage atmosphere is said to be one of “walking on eggshells” as people are scared for their jobs if and when the company is sold. The feeling is described as the same as it was before McMahon left the company in the first place, though the morale is still said to be better than before. The company is expected to be sold in the next few months, though it is still not clear who will be buying it. Backstage has been a rough area in WWE before. Check out how things have gone back ..

That includes the World Title match, which has not exactly gotten a ton of hype. Maybe it is because it seems we have another challenger on the horizon, but Rich Swann challenging Josh Alexander isn’t exactly feeling huge. Hopefully they can get some more of it covered this week so let’s get to it. Opening recap. Matt Cardona arrives and says he’s in the main event tonight. He is shown to his private dressing room with champagne and shrimp cocktails, but it turns out this is Joe Hendry’s room. Cardona is shown to a closet instead. Grayson Waller Confronts Shawn Michaels On Media Conference Call

Nowhere is safe anymore. Following last night’s NXT: Vengeance Day premium live event, Shawn Michaels did a media conference call to discuss the show. The 2023 Royal Rumble Event Was “Easy” Without Vince McMahon

It’s a new way to go. According to a report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, the 2023 Royal Rumble event was said to have been the “easiest” that it’s has been in a long time, with regard to putting the show together. This is due to the lack of creative involvement from Vince McMahon. This year’s Royal Rumble was the first under Triple H and the report states that there was a good feeling about the show in the end, including the morale among talent. Furthermore, it was said that from a day-to-day and weekly basis, the atmosphere is much more laid back. One of the only reminders of Vince’s influence remains the “Vince’s office” directional sign that hasn’t been changed since he left but points to a section of the backstage area that is completely different. Vince has been notorious for changing things at the last minute and creating a sense of chaos and unease right before a show goes on the air. The report further states that the process of the Rumble itself was the easiest in a long..

A Good Sign: How Cody Rhodes Has Been An “Outstanding” Success Since WWE Return

He’s a hit. There are few ways to gauge how successful a wrestler has been but you can often tell when someone is a success or not just by the feeling.
