That should give us a clear path to Los Angeles so let’s get to it. We open with the recap of Vengeance Day. Here are Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes to open things up. Williams talks about how Hayes turned seer Apollo Crews into Stevie Wonder before Hayes brags about his win too. Hayes knows his destiny and there is one man waiting for him. Former NWA World Champion Barry Windham Suffers Serious Medical Issue, GoFundMe Set Up

That’s bad. Wrestlers have to deal with a lot of health and injury issues when they are in the ring and those things can catch up to them in a hurry. Over time they are going to build up no matter what, but those are not even counting other health concerns they might have outside of the ring. Now a legend is having a very serious problem, years after he last set foot in the ring. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Room For One More? Former WWE Star Hints At Returning With Old Partner Former NWA World Champion Barry Windham suffered a heart attack on Friday evening and has undergone emergency surgery to save his life, leaving him in ICU. However, Windham does not have health insurance, resulting in a GoFundMe being set up (which you can donate to right here). Windham, 62, is a former member of the Four Horsemen and won multiple titles in WCW/Jim Crockett Promotions, plus the WWF World Tag Team Titles with Mike Rotunda as the US Express. Windham is an all timer. Check out some of his best moments..

International Wrestling Star Undergoes Emergency Surgery After Title Match

That’s serious. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and unfortunately there is no way to know when one of them is coming. Sometimes you see someone get hurt out of nowhere and something has to be done immediately for the sake of their long term health. While details are still unclear, another wrestler had to undergo emergency surgery to deal with a medical issue. Impact Wrestling’s Laredo Kid has had a message posted to his Instagram page showing him in a hospital bed recovering from some kind of abdominal surgery. The post, translated from Spanish, says that Kid was forced to undergo emergency surgery after a match in Monterrey, Mexico for AAA. There is no word on what happened to Kid or how long he will be out of action. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Laredo Kkid (@laredokidpro) Opinion: That’s quite the serious situation and something you never want to hear about. I’m not sure what happened to Kid and hopefully he is able to heal up faster than expected and..

Trish Stratus Undergoes Emergency Surgery

That could be serious. There are all kinds of injuries and health issues that can keep wrestlers out of the ring. It might be something short term that means they won’t be missing a lot of time, but there are other more serious situations that keep someone on the shelf for a long time. Then there are situations that happen to wrestlers through no fault of their own, which seems to be the case again. In a new post to Instagram, WWE Hall Of Famer Trish Stratus has revealed that she was forced to undergo appendectomy surgery over the weekend. Stratus said that she had been dealing with a series of pain in her side and realized that something was wrong. She has since had her appendix removed and will be fine. Stratus recently appeared on Monday Night Raw as a special guest last month. She seems in good spirits. Check out Stratus’ announcement: [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: That could have been a lot worse for Stratus as an appendicitis is the kind of thing that can..

WWE NIL Signee Officially Charged With Sexual Battery, Warrant Issued For His Arrest

That’s a serious situation. Back in 2021, WWE announced the Next In Line program, which was designed to find non-wrestling athletes and bring them into the WWE system, with the chance of eventually becoming WWE stars. The program has brought in several prospects, but now one of them is facing some very serious legal issues that could change his career path in a huge way. According to the Oklahoman, WWE NIL signee and former Oklahoma State University wrestler AJ Ferrari is facing a charge of felony sexual battery with a warrant being issued for his arrest. Ferrari was accused of holding a woman down in Stillwater, Oklahoma on July 2 and performing unwanted sexual acts on her. The woman filed an emergency protective order against Ferrari three days later. WWE has not commented on the situation or on Ferrari’s future with the NIL program. Opinion: That is a very serious charge and if the accusations against him are true, I cannot imagine he is going to have much of a future with WWE. Fe..

Another One: WWE Legend Dealing With Serious Health Issues, GoFundMe Opened

This happens far too often. Wrestling is a weird business, as the wrestlers have little in the way of a guarantee. They will often bounce from one promotion to the other and pick up work where they can. In addition, they have nothing in the way of benefits and that can create a problem after their careers are over. As sad as it is, that is the case again for another former star. Former WWE star Mo, of Men On A Mission fame, has announced that he is undergoing health issues and is starting a GoFundMe to help pay for medical expenses. Mo’s issues stem from contracting the Coronavirus while being immunocompromised due to a previous kidney transplant. This resulted in a three week stint in the ICW as well as being on an oxygen machine since his release. Mo also had complications due to a hernia and is being fed through a feeding tube due to an emergency surgery. The fund is seeking to raise $50,000 and has reached just over $4,000 so far. Opinion: This is one of those things that you see..

WWE Hall Of Famer Announces Prostate Cancer, Undergoing Surgery

There is never a good way to put this. Wrestlers are larger than life figures but they are real people when the cameras go off. That means they are going to have things that take place in their lives that are not the best situations in the world, and unfortunately it seems that we are seeing another such problem. This time though, it could be about as serious as it can get. WWE Hall of Famer and wrestling legend Hacksaw Jim Duggan has revealed that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. In the video announcement, Duggan says that he is undergoing emergency surgery on Friday October 29. This comes in the same month that Duggan had another emergency surgery for an undisclosed issue. Duggan has previously beaten kidney cancer in the 1990s. Duggan is quite the legend. Great Health News On Two Wrestling Legends

That’s great to hear. Wrestlers are larger than life characters who are on our televisions almost every week, but there is another side to them that we rarely see. Aside from just their wrestling careers, they also have real lives outside of the ring and that can include having some problems. Two legends certainly did have some problems as of late, but things might be getting a bit better. There is some good news on the health statuses of two wrestling legends. First, Jim Duggan has been released from the hospital following emergency surgery earlier this week. There is no word on what was wrong with Duggan in the first place, but he has sent out a message on Instagram, saying that he is going home to full recuperate after two nights in the hospital. In addition, Brian Knobs of the Nasty Boys has posted a new message to Facebook, revealing that he has lost 60lbs while still in the hospital and continues to undergo rehabilitation. Knobs has been in the hospital since August with a vari..

WWE Hall Of Famer Undergoes Emergency Surgery

That does not sound good. Wrestlers are a unique group of people as they are regularly on television, where they portray larger than life characters. This can make for some unique situations as it can occasionally be hard to determine where the characters end and where the real people begin. Unfortunately those people have their own share of problems as well, which was the case again this week. Debra Duggan, the wife of wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Hacksaw Jim Duggan has posted a message to Facebook showing Jim in a hospital bed. The post reveals that Jim is undergoing emergency surgery, though there is no word on what is wrong with him. Duggan has a history of health problems, including heart issues as well as beating kidney cancer in the 1990s. Duggan is a legend. Former World Champion Undergoes Surgery, Missing Rest Of 2021

That’s never good. There are always going to be injuries in wrestling but what matters most is how bad things really are. Some of them are going to be much worse than others, and that is going to determine how long it takes to get them back in the ring. Unfortunately one of the latest injuries seems to be worse than others, as a star is going to be on the shelf for a good while. Ring of Honor has announced that former World Champion Rush will miss the remainder of the year due to knee surgery. This comes after Rush reportedly underwent emergency surgery earlier in the week, though the specific issue was not mentioned. Rush was injured during a tag match at Glory By Honor in August and has been pulled from Death Before Dishonor as a result. There is no word on when he will be back in the ring. Rush is a force. Check out what will be returning to Ring of Honor: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, click to p..

WWE Comments On Shad Gaspard’s Disappearance

He was part of the family. There have been a lot of people to work for WWE over the years and some were more prominent than others. At one point or another, almost everyone has left WWE, though you never know how positive the terms might be. No matter what happens though, WWE is often willing to put past differences aside in a horrible situation, and that might be what they are doing again. On Sunday, horrible news came out of California involving former WWE wrestler Shad Gaspard. While at the beach with his family, Gaspard’s son got caught in a series of waves. Gaspard went out to help him but had to be rescued himself. Once emergency workers reached him, Gaspard told the first responders to help his son instead. Gaspard’s son was rescued, but Gaspard himself was pulled under a wave and has yet to be found. The Coast Guard has suspended their search but the Los Angeles Police Department is still searching. WWE has since commented on the situation, with both the company and Vince McM..

Matt Cappotelli's wife provides a heartbreaking update on Matt. Former WWE 'Tough Enough' winner Matt Cappotelli has had a rollercoaster of a life. Cappotelli earned a WWE contract along with John Morrison as the two men won the third season of 'Tough Enough'. After making a number of appearances on WWE programming he was sent to OVW to continue training and eventually became OVW Heavyweight Champion. In 2005 Cappotelli was diagnosed with a tumor just a few years after earning his WWE contract which forced him to relinquish the OVW Heavyweight Championship. During the summer of 2017 Cappotelli announced that he was set to undergo emergency surgery after doctors discovered a large tumor in his brain. Over the following weeks and months Cappotelli provided updates on his health but recently Cappotelli's wife, Lindsay, posted the following detailed update onto her personal blog sharing the news that Matt's health is severely declining and noted that s..
