Road Dogg On Bret Hart: “I Don’t Think Bret Was That Great Of A Wrestler”

That’s an interesting take. There are a lot of different styles of wrestling, some of which can be on opposite sides of the spectrum. A wrestler might be a brawler, a grappler, a technician, a high flier or some combination of styles mixed together. You know one of the greats when you see one, but it turns out that one legend does not think so highly of another legendary name. During the latest edition of his Oh You Didn’t Know podcast, Road Dogg spoke about the Montreal Screwjob, featuring Bret Hart. Call it a generation gap? There have been all kinds of talented wrestlers in the world over the years but a lot of them have come from very different backgrounds. You can see all kinds of wrestlers with varying personalities and characteristics and some of them can not see eye to eye. That is the case with two names from different generations who seem to see things a bit differently. During a recent edition of his Kliq This podcast, former World Champion Kevin Nash talked about CM Punk’s recent comments at the AEW All Out media scrum. A Wrestling Promotion Is Changing From Live Action To Animation

That’s a different way to present things. Professional wrestling has been around for a very long time now and you can see it take place in all different forms. The style that was popular in the early days of wrestling is quite different than what we see today, which doesn’t even include all of the style changes along the way. Aro Lucha, a lucha libre promotion, has announced that it will stop producing live wrestling events and move towards an animation project instead. Macaulay Culkin Goes In Depth On His Issues With Modern WWE

That’s a different take to get. WWE is in a weird place at the moment as they are switching a lot of things around. The company has released a lot of wrestlers over the last year and a half and it has impacted how the roster looks. This is probably not going to help the fact that WWE has a reputation for booking rematches, and now a rather unlikely source is talking about just that. Actor Macaulay Culkin was a guest on Freddie Prinze Jr.’s Wrestling With Freddie podcast to discuss various topics in wrestling. Culkin talked about his issues with WWE’s repetitive matches, citing Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar and New Day vs. the Usos as matches that have been run too often. Adam Cole: “I Always End Up Becoming The Guy”

AEW superstar Adam Cole was recently a guest on Rasslin’ with Brandon Walker on Barstool Sports where he discussed a number of topics. Among them was how he is perceived in AEW and if he was worried about becoming lost in the shuffle in WWE/NXT. Below is a highlight from the interview, with transcription courtesy of WrestleZone: “So, I think the big difference here is looking at AEW the company as a whole, objectively. So, the biggest thing that AEW does so well, is whether you’re in the first match, in the middle of the card or in the main event, AEW does an excellent job of making every single person feel special. Like I said, whether you hold a title, whether you don’t hold a title,” Cole noted, “a lot of people in that company feel like stars, because they are, and because AEW does a great job of building talent in many different ways. “Also, for anyone who’s concerned, if you look at kind of where we’re going, I’m a member of The Elite, the number one heel faction in all of AEW..

I didn’t even get a, ‘Best of luck in your future endeavors.’ I mean, if you’re gonna let me go at least hit your catchphrase, right?” He continued, “I don’t know if it’s something that draws people to professional wrestling or something that happens to people when they’ve been in the business for a long enough time. But my mind always races towards ways to pop the c..

WWE Legend Lists His Problems With Today’s Product, Cites Changing Fans

Can you blame him? WWE has been around for a long time now but the company is certainly undergoing some problems at the moment. There have been a lot of challenges for the company and the fans are not exactly watching as much as they used to. At the same time, the company has released all kinds of wrestlers in a short amount of time. This can make for some confusing moments, with one legend seeming to agree. WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler appeared on Busted Open Radio and spoke about the current WWE product. Lawler said that it can be hard to watch at times, as he felt like he needed to cram for an exam to know what is going on and who everyone is. He went on to say that things change so fast these days and fans have a shorter attention span. As a result, WWE has to keep things constantly moving to keep up, which can make things harder to remember. Here are some of Lawler’s comments, with transcription courtesy of Wrestlinginc.com: On Modern WWE “Sometimes it’s sort of hard for me t..

Wrestling Legend Reveals Serious Health Troubles Caused By Alcohol Abuse

It could be worse. One of the more surprising wrestling stories of the year was the announcement that AEW’s Jon Moxley would be entering rehab for alcohol issues. The story came out of nowhere but was a good example of someone realizing that they had a problem and getting the help that they needed. It’s not the easiest story to hear, and now we are hearing something similar. In an interview with Oricon News (with translation courtesy of 411mania.com), wrestling legend and former WWE Women’s Champion Bull Nakano revealed that she was hospitalized last year with cirrhosis of the liver due to alcohol abuse. Nakano said that she refused to go to the hospital due to worrying about work but her symptoms eventually became too bad. Her husband eventually found out how bad things were for Nakano and convinced her to go to the hospital. She also mentioned that she would drink every day but now no longer has since quit and feels healthier as a result. Nakano last wrestled on November 3, 2007. N..

AEW Full Gear Finish Changed Due To Injury, Possible Heat On Wrestler

They might have a point. There are so many things going on at a wrestling show that it can be hard to keep track of everything. This includes during every match, as some of them are a lot faster pace than others. One constant throughout the matches though is the possibility of someone getting hurt. That was the case over the weekend and it has landed someone in some hot water. Last weekend’s AEW Full Gear event featured a match between the Lucha Bros and FTR. About ten minutes into the match, Dax Harwood was legitimately knocked out by Rey Fenix, leaving Cash Wheeler to face the Lucha Bros on his own. According to Fightful Select, some of the AEW locker room is not happy with Fenix for failing to check on Harwood after the match, as it is considered common courtesy. There is no word on how bad Harwood may be hurt, though there is also nothing to suggest he will miss ring time. The ending to the match was also changed, as Harwood was supposed to be involved as part of the illegal man b..

Emotional Moment Takes Place After AEW Full Gear Wraps Up

The champ is here. There are a lot of things that can change the wrestling landscape and a new World Champion is one of the most important. It can represent a new era for a wrestling promotion, especially if it has been a long time coming. That was the case this weekend, and we did not have to wait long to hear from the new champion, who was still rather emotional. The main event of this weekend’s AEW Full Gear pay per view saw Hangman Page defeat Kenny Omega to become the new World Champion. Following his win, the Dark Order came to the ring to celebrate with him to end the show. After the pay per view went off the air, Page addressed the crowd. Here is what he had to say, with transcription courtesy of PWInsider.com: “I told myself all day that if this was the outcome, I would cry like a little baby. I guess I lied to myself about that. That seems to be a thing with me. I lie to myself. When I joined the Bullet Club, I thought I’d never measure up. I thought I’d never belong and I ..
