Jim Ross Offers Update On His Health Status
I’d call that good news. There are all kinds of injuries that can take place in any given wrestling show and nothing good ever comes from them. You never want to see someone get injured in any way but unfortunately there is no way to guarantee a wrestler’s health. In addition, there are other health issues that can cause a lot of problems. This time though, there is some great news about a bad health situation. During the latest edition of his Grilling JR podcast, AEW broadcaster Jim Ross has announced that he is still cancer free. Ross still has to undergo treatments to heal some burns related to his original cancer treatments. Ross was diagnosed with skin cancer just over a year ago before revealing that he was officially cancer free in December of last year. That is some great news. There have been some famous names throughout wrestling history and some of them are among the most likable athletes that you will ever see. A bittersweet moment. Wrestlers do a lot of things in front of the cameras and most of the time, it can be pretty entertaining. It’s a group project. Wrestling and acting have a weird relationship, as wrestlers are acting but when it comes to acting, they are only seen as wrestlers. That’s a special thing to do. There are a lot of legends of wrestling still around today and several of them have some rather famous careers. Some people have to go. There are so many people on the WWE roster that the company has split them up into a few different rosters. Bret Hart Receiving Special Honor For Charity
That’s a unique honor. Wrestlers have a weird celebrity status as they are indeed television stars, but there is a pretty firm limit to what that can mean. Ultimately, they are only wrestlers and it is very rare to see them move higher up in the celebrity world. It does happen every now and then, and this time one of them is getting quite the honor for the second time. The Calgary Hitmen hockey team has announced the second annual Bret “Hitman” Hart game, which will take place in partnership with the Prostate Cancer Centre of Calgary on March 5, 2022. There will also be a Prairie Wrestling Alliance wrestling event after the game. Bobby Fulton, most well known as part of the Fantastics tag team, has announced that he underwent throat surgery on Monday. There is no word on what Fulton’s surgery is for, though he was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2019. Fulton retired from wrestling in 2020, following a forty three year career in wrestling.
