Boomer Sooner: Very Good Health Update On Jim Ross
Hopefully it gets better. Wrestlers are very different than a lot of people, but they do share a lot of the same experiences. Some of these can be very great moments, but others are not so fortunate. This can include health issues, as sometimes a wrestler, or a wrestling personality, has to deal with something serious. That was the case again this week, but you might not notice on TV.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Jim Ross underwent successful back surgery this week. It is not known what the surgery was exactly for, but Ross had mentioned that some skin cancer had been found on his back. Ross is not expected to miss any time from AEW, and is planning to be in Chicago for this week’s edition of Dynamite. He is also scheduled to begin undergoing radiation treatment for his skin cancer starting next week.
Ross has meant a lot in AEW. Check out some of his time with the company:

Opinion: Any time you hear the word surgery, it is great to have the word “successful” come before it. The fact that Ross is likely to be on AEW Dynamite this week suggests that things went well, though hopefully he doesn’t overdo things. Back surgery is nothing to take lightly, especially when you already have major health issues. It will be great to hear about his next treatment going well and even better when everything is back to normal.
