It came from the source. It had been previously reported that the Bella Twins were officially leaving WWE for good and had rebranded themselves as Nikki and Brie Garcia. One of the main questions that has risen is the wrestling future, particularly when it comes to AEW. That question was answered today on Instagram Live, where Nikki confirmed that her and her sister would not be going to AEW. You can see a clip of that below: Nikki and Brie Garcia are not going to AEW. pic.twitter.com/PkzCosyUER — Wrestling News (@WrestlingNewsCo) March 15, 2023 Garcia also mentioned that there was fan speculation that things have soured between both them and WWE. She said it seems that way because of “everything in the past” but there are no hard feelings. Editor’s Opinion: I’ll take the Garcias at their word, as they have absolutely no reason to taint their legacy by going to AEW. That being said, it wouldn’t surprise me if Tony Khan threw a bunch of money at them to get a major pop for one nig..
The final promotion. WWE has a unique situation as the company is able to run its own developmental system. With NXT, WWE gets to build up its own future generation, which can help them repopulate their roster whenever they need to. It can mean a lot when a wrestler is able to move up to the main roster and now WWE seems to have their eyes on a brand new star. Mark your calendars. On average, WWE runs one Premium Live Event a month and you can usually pencil in a lot of the events. Some shows have been run n the same months for years now and there is nothing to suggest that they will be changing anytime soon. Occasionally you will see something else slip in though and that might be the case with a returning event. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Maybe? Pat McAfee Explains Uncertainty About WWE Future Following Company Sale Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston is reporting that multiple sources have confirmed WWE will present Backlash on May 6 and King & Queen Of The Ring on May 27. WWE has not yet announced either show. Backlash, which has been called WrestleMania Backlash in recent years, is regularly the next major event after WrestleMania. King Of The Ring has been held on and off for several years, though it has only been a stand alone event once since 2002. Queen Of The Ring has never been held, though WWE did hold a Queen’s Crown tournament in 202..
It’s a different group. Stables have been a part of WWE’s history for decades now and there is nothing to suggest that they will be going away anytime soon. They are a logical idea, as you can have several wrestlers in one place and getting more television time than they might have otherwise. Now though, we might be seeing a WWE stable gaining another member. That would be a change. You never know when you might see someone return to WWE after a long hiatus and it can make for quite the fun moment. Occasionally someone will pop in after a long hiatus and find something new to do in the company. That was the case back at the Royal Rumble and now it seems that one of the returning superstars might be bringing someone with her. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Uh Oh: Backstage Belief On Vince McMahon’s Involvement With WWE Sale Chelsea Green made her surprise return to WWE in the Women’s Royal Rumble and has since continued to appear on the main roster, portraying a “Karen” like character. As shown by a fan in a tweet, Green’s entrance graphics contain an RS logo, which is the same logo for the Robert Stone brand in NXT. Green is a former member of the Robert Stone Brand before being called up to the main roster for the first time. There has been no mention of Stone on the main roster and no word on when or if he might debut. Not the robert stone bra..
