WWE Announces King and Queen of the Ring 2023 Event
New royalty will be crowned. WWE has issued the following press release, announcing the 2023 King and Queen of the Ring event: The General Entertainment Authority, in cooperation with WWE, has announced that WWE King and Queen Of The Ring will be held at the Jeddah Superdome, the world’s largest pillarless Superdome, on Saturday, May 27, 2023. WWE King and Queen Of The Ring is happening in Jeddah, alongside a host of additional exciting events happening in Jeddah throughout the year. This marks the first King Of The Ring Premium Live Event to be held since 2015 and the first crowning of a Queen since the inaugural Queen’s Crown Tournament which took place at WWE Crown Jewel in Riyadh in 2021. He’s back! At tonight’s Impact Wrestling Hard to Kill pay-per-view event, former WWE superstar Santino Marella made his debut in Impact Wrestling. Marella made his entrance after Moose used a low blow to defeat Joe Hendry and announced that he is now in the role of the Director of Authority. It’s a rough job. There are all kinds of people who have to come together to make a WWE show work and a lot of them don’t even get in the ring. Some of the people are there as a representative of the company as a way to make sure things go well. Now one of them is talking about his former position and how it did not exactly go as well as he had been hoping. During the latest edition of his ARN podcast, former WWE producer Arn Anderson spoke about his time in the role. Anderson said that he actually hated the job, as he was only involved in the finish of the match. If the rest of the match did not go well, he would get blamed by Vince McMahon. The job would have been easier if he had more authority of the match, as it would have kept him from taking so much blame for so little influence. Triple H’s Return To WWE Performance Center Might Not Mean Much
It might be a little while. There have been all kinds of changes taking place as of late in WWE, with some of those taking place behind the scenes. Those changes have caused various changes to take place in front of the camera as well. Some of the changes might not have taken effect just yet though, and that seems to be the case with one of the more interesting ones. Last month, reports stated that Triple H had returned to the WWE Performance Center and declared that he was “back”. However, according to PWInsider.com, the NXT leadership team has not changed and there is nothing to indicate that Triple H has any official position. AEW President Tony Khan Unhappy With Locker Room Leaks, Calls Them “Shameful”
The boss isn’t pleased. There are a lot of people who come together to make AEW work but perhaps the most important is the company’s president Tony Khan. In addition to being the company’s booker and financial backer, he is also the ultimate boss in the company. That means he has to be the final authority figure when something goes wrong. WRESTLING RUMORS: Triple H Returning To Old Position
Welcome back! To say there has been a lot of upheaval behind the scenes in WWE in recent months would be a huge understatement. The company’s front office has been turned upside down in a lot of ways and that is probably going to be continuing in the near future. It can be interesting to see how things shake out, and now another big change seems to be putting things back to how they were before. According to John Pollock of Post Wrestling, Triple H is reportedly back at the WWE Performance Center and has said that he is “back”. Time For A New Career: WWE Star Loses Her Job This Week On Monday Night Raw
Put it on the resume. There are a lot of ways to present a wrestler in WWE as there are several roles they can fill. What matters is finding the right fit for every wrestler and that can be rather difficult to do. Some wrestlers have strengths in certain areas and now one wrestler is going to be moved to another spot, where she happens to be rather skilled as well. Over the last few weeks, WWE official Sonya Deville has been under an official investigation by WWE higher ups. This week saw the results released, which declared that Deville had abused her authority, causing her to be fired from her role. As a result, Deville will be wrestling full time, which included a loss to the returning Alexa Bliss. Deville had been in her authority position since January 2021. It’s something for him to do. There are a lot of people on the WWE roster and it can be difficult for the company to find something for everyone to do. It is not uncommon to see a wrestler sitting on the sidelines for long periods of time, which can be rather frustrating for the wrestlers and their fans. Now one seems to be back in a different role, but it might just be a setup for something else entirely. Over the last two episodes of SmackDown, Drew Gulak has been auditioning to be a part of the broadcast team, only to be beaten up by Charlotte and Ronda Rousey. Wrestling Legend Confirms She Is Retired From The Ring
It was great while it lasted. There have been countless wrestlers over the years but only a small handful of them reach legendary status. Those wrestlers are some of the greatest of all time and you will occasionally be lucky enough to see them in the ring after reaching such a high level. That is the case with a few names today, but one of them will not be getting back in the ring. Impact Wrestling Hall of Famer and former WWE Women’s Champion Gail Kim appeared on Busted Open Radio and confirmed that she will not be returning to the ring and is officially retired. Kim cited a variety of health reasons, including not wanting to risk her back or memory getting worse. Kim is currently a producer and on air authority figure for Impact Wrestling.
