Who’s The Boss: Interesting Detail On Logan Paul’s WWE Deal
Money talks. Celebrities have a long history of being involved in wrestling and it makes a lot of sense. Fans are interested in seeing what someone from outside the wrestling world can do there and it can make for some interesting results. That is the case again in WWE with a new signee, and it turns out that the new star has a bit more authority than most regular wrestlers.
Last week, social media star Logan Paul officially signed with WWE. During his signing, Paul cut a promo on the Miz, promising that he was coming for him. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, this is because Paul is reportedly “calling the shots” with WWE and wants to be presented as the hero in the story. The two are expected to face off at Summerslam following Miz attacking Paul at WrestleMania 38.
Opinion: This is one of those things that you do not get to see very often but it does make some sense. Paul is a star and someone who does not need WWE to be seen as a big deal. It makes sense for WWE to let him have whatever he wants, though I’m almost worried to see just how bad things go when he is around. Hopefully this goes over well for WWE, because it could be quite the mess.
What do you think of Paul? How will he do in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
