That’s A No: Backstage Reaction To Possible Vince McMahon Return (And It’s Not Happy)

They seem to be a no. There have been a lot of changes to the wrestling world this year and the biggest of them all seems to have been that of Vince McMahon retiring from WWE. McMahon was accused of various relationships with women and paying them off using company funds. The shakeup was felt throughout the company as well as the wrestling world. McMahon had been the force in WWE for such a long time, though a recent report suggested that might be changing again. It just seems that some people are not pleased. Vince McMahon Reportedly Planning WWE Comeback

He might not be done? This has been one of the busiest wrestling years in history with several game changing stories taking place. The biggest of them all has been Vince McMahon’s retirement from WWE. For the first time in nearly forty years, a new regime is in charge of WWE and that is leading to even more changes. However, we might not entirely be done with the old regime. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Double Shot: WWE Files Trademarks For Return Of Classic Show (Kind Of) According to a new report from the Wall Street Journal, McMahon is considering a comeback to WWE. McMahon reportedly felt that he was given bad advice about retiring and believes that the allegations against him will blow over. WATCH: Paul Heyman Gives Great Advice To WWE Recruits

He’s good at the talking. While wrestling is built around people getting in the ring and having a match, it means a lot more to be someone the fans care about. Being able to do moves and have a match is one thing, but the wrestlers need some kind of a connection. There is an art to making fans care about you and some potential wrestlers were given a lesson in how to do that. WWE has been holding tryouts for potential new stars in conjunction with Summerslam. The WWE Recruit Twitter account has released a video of Paul Heyman giving a talk to the potential recruits. Heyman talks about selling your name, because otherwise the recruits are just a number on a list. Heyman told them to sell themselves to their audience and give them something to remember. WWE has reportedly signed several new names out of the tryouts, though there is no word on when they might debut. There is some knowledge here. Check out what Heyman had to say: [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: This i..

There Is A Much Nicer Side To Brock Lesnar

The other side. There are very few wrestlers in history like Brock Lesnar. He is a mixture of power, amateur wrestling skills and natural athleticism that has probably never been rivaled in professional wrestling. At the same time though, Lesnar has a bit of a reputation for just being in wrestling for the money and having little desire to do much else. However, he might be a bit nicer than he seems. Natalya was a guest on the Sports Guys Talking Wrestling podcast and revealed that Lesnar regularly gives wrestlers feedback on their matches. Lesnar watches the matches at the gorilla position behind the curtain and then offers wrestlers advice along with areas where they could improve. Natalya went on to say that Lesnar gets a bad reputation for not giving back but he knows what he is talking about with wrestling. Opinion: This is the kind of thing that can make for some fascinating moments, as Lesnar does have a reputation for not being thrilled to be around wrestling a lot of the tim..

Here’s The Odd Advice Bron Breakker Was Given At Monday Night Raw

Good advice? NXT is a rather unique wrestling promotion as it has to be its own show while also serving as WWE’s developmental territory. As a result, it needs to develop wrestlers and get them ready to go to the main roster, which can be easier said than done. One major NXT star made his main roster debut this week though and he seemed to get some unique advice. Former NXT Champion Bron Breakker made his Monday Night Raw debut on this week’s show, teaming with Tommaso Ciampa to defeat Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode in a tag match. Breakker appeared on the One-On-One podcast after the show and discussed his appearance. He mentioned that several wrestlers gave him advice, with the advice that stood out the most being that he needed to smile more. There is no word on when Breakker will return to Monday Night Raw. This was an interesting interview. Check out the full video: [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: This is one of those things that WWE does that doesn’t make ..

WATCH: Ronda Rousey Reveals Advice Vince McMahon Gave Her

He knows his stuff. There are very few people in the history of wrestling as controversial as Vince McMahon. While he is the most successful and influential names in the industry, McMahon is certainly not without his faults. There have been several instances where he makes some questionable decisions, but he still does know what he is talking about at times. That was on display with one of his biggest stars. Ronda Rousey made her WWE return at the 2022 Royal Rumble, winning the women’s edition of the show’s namesake match. Rousey has released a video on her YouTube page talking about her return, which comes after her first run with the company was not well received by fans. During her return, McMahon told her to smile more, because even if she had not forgiven the fans, they had forgiven her, and the show is ultimately about the fans. Rousey said that it was a great point, as she had forgotten that the point of the show was to entertain the fans. There is a lot here. Check out the fu..

AEW Wrestlers Refute Recent Report On Cody Rhodes

That doesn’t sound great. AEW has had a huge impact on the wrestling world and has done so under a very different method. While President Tony Khan seems to have the final say on just about everything, there are a group of wrestlers with quite a bit of authority of their own. However, there is a report that one of them might not be the friendliest backstage. Now some wrestlers are disagreeing with what was said. Earlier this week, PW Torch reported that AEW Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes is not as approachable with the rest of the roster as CM Punk. After the report was published, several AEW wrestlers have come to Rhodes’ defense, including QT Marshall, Fuego del Sol, Preston Vance and more. All of them spoke about how Rhodes has helped them and offered advice when needed. PW Torch has not responded to the wrestlers’ comments. Idk who gives Wade his info! “Unlike Cody” … I wish Cody was unapproachable. So when he’s filming one of his 30 tv shows, I’d have his locker room in p..

VIDEO: Big Angle Takes Place During This Week’s NXT

That’s one way to go. There are all kinds of stories to tell in wrestling but there are some which you see more often than others. That can make for some tried and true stories over the years, but promotions keep coming back to them for a reason. It seems to be the case again at the moment, as we are seeing a classic angle played out all over again on national television. Indi Hartwell proposed to her new boyfriend Dexter Lumis during this week’s edition of NXT. The two have been a couple for two weeks and went on their first date during last week’s edition of the show. Following a win in a mixed tag team match during this week’s show, Beth Phoenix whispered some advice to Hartwell, who then pulled out a ring and proposed, with Lumis accepting. There is no word on when the wedding will take place. It was a long road to get here. Check out how it went down: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, click to play..

VIDEO: Mustafa Ali Returns To Monday Night Raw With New Story

It’s something to do. There are times where WWE will leave a wrestler with nothing to do and it does not make the most sense. Maybe the company gets tired of them or cannot think of something new, but for one reason or another, a wrestler is left on the sidelines for weeks if not months at a time. That was the case for a Monday Night Raw star, though now it might be changing a bit. Mustafa Ali returned to Monday Night Raw this week in a backstage segment involving Mansoor. The Viking Raiders had given Mansoor, who signed with the show earlier in the month, some advice, but Ali came up to Mansoor to say he shouldn’t trust anyone. Mansoor asked if that included Ali, who said Mansoor was getting it. Ali has not wrestled a match on Monday Night Raw or SmackDown since April 1, though he and Ricochet have been feuding on Main Event in recent weeks. This has potential. Check out the meeting and each of them in the ring: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video,..

Vince McMahon Told A Wrestler To Not Be Funny Or Entertaining

It’s certainly advice. While some people might not be the biggest fans of the man, there is no denying that Vince McMahon has produced a lot of great wrestling ideas. He has managed to succeed in a lot of different areas of wrestling and made a fortune doing so. There are certain things he does though which might not work out so well, and one of those involved a wrestler who looked ready to break through to the main event. Debuting back in 2005, Ken Anderson, then known as Mr. Kennedy, seemed like he was going to be a breakout star. There was something about him that made you want to watch and it was hard to look away from him. An injury caused him to miss the biggest break of his career when he was scheduled to become McMahon’s on-screen son, but nothing ever came of it. McMahon had some interesting thoughts on Anderson, which he let him know right off the bat. Anderson was a guest on SportsKeeda’s UnSKripted where he spoke about advice that McMahon gave him. Upon debuting, Anderson..

Big Cass On What He’s Been Doing Since Being Released And Who He Still Talks To In WWE

Why yes, he does still have a lot to say. Earlier this year, Big Cass was released from WWE in what was probably a bit of a surprise. He had only been been back on the active roster for a few weeks after returning from his torn ACL and just like that he was gone. Even though he’s out of the company, he’s not away from wrestling entirely and that means he has some thoughts on the business. Cass recently appeared on Booker T.’s Heated Conversations podcast and talked about his time away from the WWE. When asked about how much he still follows WWE since his released on June 19, he said that he hasn’t watched WWE whatsoever, to the point where he doesn’t even know who the current champions are. He also mentioned that he still keeps in touch with some of the company’s current stars, who have given him some advice. Here are some highlights, with transcription courtesy of Wrestlinginc.com: On How Far He Is Removed From WWE “One-hundred percent. I haven’t watched SmackDown, Raw, PPV, I haven..

Watch: “Woken” Matt Hardy Consults With George Washington

Who wouldn’t want to talk to a dead president? WWE has posted a new video to their YouTube channel, in which “Woken” Matt Hardy talks to the first President of the United States, George Washington. He has, however, taken the modern form of a giraffe his Hardy’s Personal Zoo. You can see the clip below: [This post contains video, click to play] Hardy is seeking counsel as he prepares for “The Ultimate Deletion” this coming Monday on “Raw.” In the video, after receiving advice from Mr. Washington, Hardy rewards him with a carrot or two. He then remarks that the giraffe loves carrots as much as the “Woken” one loves green beans. Editor’s Opinion: Have you had those moments in life where you simply say “you can’t make this stuff up?” This is not one of those moments. The “woken” character is so out there and so ridiculous, that it is absolutely brilliant. I cannot wait to see what WWE’s amazing video production team can do with “The Ultimate Deletion!” Are you looking forward to “T..
