In breaking wrestling news, a report from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reveals that the original plans for WWE Sunday Night’s Main Pay-per-view included significant promotion of the episode, along with a live concert by Lil Yachty, which was intended to be one of the main attractions.
However, the concert has since been canceled. This decision followed feedback regarding related segments from the previous edition of Saturday Night’s Marquee showdown. Furthermore, nonetheless, both Yachty and Trick Williams are still tipped to play important roles in the event, as indicated in the promotional materials. Beyond that, wWE has decided to focus more on the in-ring product for next month’s event. Since Yachty is from Atlanta, Georgia, it makes sense for WWE to promote the event around him.
Currently, Trick Williams is not officially advertised or penciled in for a match at Sunday Night’s Main Show. It's worth noting that the event will take place on Sunday, September 6th, at the State Farm Event center in Atlanta, Georgia. Equally important, it will stream live on Peacock in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
