Four WWE NXT live events scheduled within the next eight days in Florida have been postponed due to Hurricane Irma. The September 15th live event in Dade City has been rescheduled to October, but no status yet on the dates for the remaining three shows. Hurricane Irma, as of Thursday afternoon, is a Category 5 storm that has recently swept through a handful Caribbean islands. Irma is projected to make landfall in Florida this weekend. North Carolina and South Carolina could also expect heavy rainfall based on weather projections.

According to a statement from WWE:

NXT Live Events on Friday, Sept. 8, in Daytona Beach; Saturday, Sept. 9, in Crystal River; Thursday, Sept. 14, in Lakeland; and Friday, Sept. 15, in Dade City, have been postponed. The Sept. 15 Live Event in Dade City has been rescheduled for Thursday, Oct. 5, and tickets that have been previously purchased for the show will be honored that night.

Meanwhile, NXT live events are still scheduled in the northern United States and Canada. An NXT live event is scheduled tonight in Rochester, N.Y., followed by two shows in Canada, which have been billed as Bobby Roode’s farewell tour. Roode, the former NXT Champion, recently made his main roster debut on the SmackDown Live brand.
