A wrestler who acts differently is going to get noticed a lot more easily and that can lead to a lot of success. That is the case with one of AEW’s top stars and now he is being recognized for his abilities. However, he isn’t exactly happy with the recognition.

ESPN announced its 2022 Wrestling Awards this week, with AEW’s Maxwell Jacob Friedman being named Promo Artist Of The Year. Friedman replied on Twitter, asking if he was getting a “f****** plaque for this bulls***.” ESPN’s Greg Wyshynski instead offered a DVD of “Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has A Glitch” with a picture hanger on the back. As a result, Friedman said “go to h*** Greg.”
