WATCH: Max Caster Messes Up Rap During AEW Rampage Taping (And It’s Funny)

It’s not easy. Wrestling is a very tricky art form to master and there are all kinds of different issues that can make things all the more complicated. In addition to the matches themselves, there is everything else that the wrestlers have to do in front of the live fans. Every now and then you are going to see something go wrong and now we have a clip that you will probably not see on television.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: It’s Broken: AEW Sets New Record With This Week’s AEW Dynamite
This week on AEW Dynamite, a segment involving the Acclaimed was announced for this week’s edition of Rampage. As Rampage was taped after Dynamite, a clip of the Acclaimed’s entrance has surfaced online, featuring Max Caster doing one of his customary raps. However, this time Caster messed up the first verse of his rap and had to start over. Caster and Billy Gunn acknowledged the error and then redid the entrance. There is nothing to suggest that this will air on television.
This was good for a chuckle. C..

It’s Broken: AEW Sets New Record With This Week’s AEW Dynamite

Nice job. AEW has grown by leaps and bounds since its debut less than four years ago. The company has already seen all kinds of new stars and traditions begin, including going to some rather large markets. That was the case earlier this week as the company took Dynamite to Los Angeles. While the show’s attendance might not have been a record, they did manage to break one important record.

AEW Interested In A Merger With WWE

When two become one. According to a report from CNBC, Shad and Tony Khan, owners of AEW, are interested in merging with WWE. The report states that AEW could partner with a strategic media company to share the intellectual property while merging the two companies.
However, the idea that Vince McMahon would merge his company with AEW is a long shot. AEW hasn’t had talks with McMahon or Nick Khan, the new CEO for WWE.
The Khans are open to discussing a potential role for McMahon, after a sale but haven’t yet had those talks. It’s unclear what type of job McMahon would want with WWE after a sale, primarily because WWE is a much larger and more established organization than AEW.
WWE is reportedly planning to sell the company sometime in 2023.
Editor’s Opinion:
Wow, this is not the headline that I expected to read today. I’m not exactly sure how a merger would work, particularly with Tony Khan and Vince McMahon as the two people that would work out the details. They are both very inves..

Saraya: [Triple H] Offered Me An Opportunity To Wrestle

AEW superstar Saraya was recently interviewed by Metro, where she discussed a number of topics. Among them were why she decided to join AEW, working for Triple H vs. Tony Khan and more.
Below are some highlights from the interview:
On a conversation with Triple H and why Saraya decided to join AEW:
‘He did give me the opportunity to potentially be a GM again, and give me the opportunity to be like, “If you ever potentially want to wrestle again, I’ll give you that opportunity too”. He was very open about any ideas that I had.’
Saraya laughed: ‘When AEW started you’re kinda like, “ooh, what’s going on over there?” It’s like the movie, the bad boy with a leather jacket and a cigarette, kinda cruising in the background like, “Who’s that bad boy?”
‘You’re definitely intrigued by the company! Just seeing how quickly in three years that it’s built – I’m like, this company! You have the bad, tribal fans, but whether you like them or not you can’t fault how amazing it is to become another..

It’s That Time: Several Names Possible For WWE Royal Rumble

It’s that time of year. We are just over two weeks away from the Royal Rumble and that means it is time to start putting together the lineups for the show’s namesake matches. This includes thirty men and thirty women, which can make for quite the collection of talent in both. It also often means a bunch of returns and surprises, and this time we have an idea of who might be included.

Family Business: Update On Shane McMahon’s WWE Status, How Much He Was Paid In 2022

He’s still there. WWE has been changed in a variety of ways over the last several months and there is no idea on when things will settle back down. This has turned the company upside down and a lot of the changes have been centered around the McMahon Family. The Family has been around wrestling for years, but one member is not there that often. He is still with WWE though and now we know a bit more about his status.

WWE has recently shaken up its Board Of Directors, which required a filing with the Securities And Exchange Commission (SEC). According to the filing, Shane McMahon is still part of WWE as an independent contractor and was paid approximately $828,000 in 2022. McMahon wrestled one match for the company during the year, appearing in the Men’s Royal Rumble match for less than six minutes. He was sent home after the show due to disagreements over how he should be presented.

Time Frame: Here’s When WWE Wants To Finish Sale, Plus Possible Buyers

They have plans. We are in the middle of a whirlwind time for WWE, as the company seems likely to be sold off in the near future. That is the kind of change that could have all kinds of ramifications and there is no telling of how widespread they could be. In the middle of all that though, there is the question of when it could happen. Now we might have a better answer.

They Don’t Approve: Backstage Reaction And More On Rumored WWE Sale

There’s more to it. We are in the middle of a huge time of change in WWE and there are likely a lot more changes coming in the near future. Now we know a bit more about the backstage reaction to what is going on.

Earlier this week, a rumor surfaced saying that WWE had been sold to Saudi Arabia, though the story seems to not be true. Fightful Select has more on the fallout from the rumor, including WWE sources saying no sale to Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) has been made “as of yet”.
As for the roster, several have said they would walk out if the PIF purchased the company. There are also wrestlers who are worried about Vince McMahon returning to WWE Creative, with some believ..

Only Room For One: Former WWE Superstar Accused Of Trying To Get Wrestlers Fired

That’s not so nice. WWE has a lot of things going on at any given time and a lot of it has to do with the roster. There are so many personalities and minds working together at the same time but some of them do not get along as well. Occasionally you will see one wrestler causing issues throughout the company and now a former star has a story to tell about something like that happening.

During a recent edition of his Cafe de Rene podcast, former WWE star Rene Dupree revealed that Hardcore Holly was disliked in the WWE locker room. Dupree alleged that Holly would try to get wrestlers fired from the company after pretending to be their friend and then burying them. There was no mention of what Holly would specifically do or any wrestlers he might have gotten fired from the company.

Switcheroos. WWE Made Multiple Changes To This Week’s Monday Night Raw

What could have been. For thirty years now, WWE has presented Monday Night Raw almost every Monday night as its flagship program. That is one heck of a trick as it is not easy to find a way to produce that much content over and over. The show has to have some adjustments made some time and that was the situation again this week, as multiple changes were made.

As They Should: WWE Team Praised For Recent Efforts, One Member Stands Out

They’ve earned it. With so many talented stars on the WWE roster, it can be difficult to find a way to stand out. One of the most common ways is to have a match that stands out, especially if it is in a match that you do not see very often. That was the case this week, as a group of wrestlers did rather well in a match and now the company is praising them as a result.

The main event of this week’s Monday Night Raw was a gauntlet match, with the Judgment Day lasting over 48 minutes to win a future Tag Team Title match.
