Impact Wrestling star Moose recently spoke with WSVN-TV Entertainment Reporter Chris Van Vliet, where he shockingly admitted that he initially hated his wrestling name. He also discussed EC3 in NXT. He hated the name “Moose”: “A teammate of mine gave it to me during my football days. Hated it. Couldn’t stand it. Hated everybody who called me Moose and now Moose makes me money.”
His thoughts on his friend EC3 signing with NXT: “I talk to him every day. I’m so happy for him, he’s doing great things with the company he’s with now. Everybody knew he was going to be a star wherever he goes. He looks like a Greek god and he talks great on the mic and his in-ring work is great. We all knew he was going to do great things.”

Tyler Breeze and Fandango were recently interviewed on Edge & Christian’s Podcast of Awesomeness where they discussed how Breeze he was nearly fired on several occasions. Fandango first explained how he and Breeze weren’t complacent and pitched gimmicks to get themselves on TV: “It was just example of, like, before tagging with Breezy, you weren’t really booked on TV, so it’s easy just to sit around every week at TV and being frustrated, but I think we utilized the [WWE].com guys really well, just kind of being proactive. And trying to almost, like, pitch our own little gimmick there and I think it’s just a good example of being proactive and just trying to make something happen. And I talk to Breeze all the time and we’re really proud of what we did because no one really gave that to us. We kind of put in the work for that.”

He waits alone? WrestleMania is built around the idea of drawing in the biggest names in wrestling for a short term appearance. Sure the full time wrestlers are going to play big roles, but the part time stars are the ones that matter the most. Celebrities have a history of playing major roles as well, and with good reason. If you can draw in people who don’t usually watch wrestling, you can get in a fresh and additional audience. Now one would think that combining those categories would be great, but WWE seems to disagree.
The idea worked very well here.

Batista was interested and wanted the match to set up another match with Triple H at WrestleMania 35. WWE seemed interested in the idea but, according to Batista, just stopped responding to him. He tried to contact them again ..

ROH star Cheeseburger was the latest guest on James Walsh’s Interactive Wrestling Radio where he discussed what his relationship with Chris Jericho is, among other topics. On taking part in the ECWA Super 8 Tournament: “Oh, I had a blast. That was definitely one of the things on my bucket list. I, unfortunately, lost in the first round to a great competitor, Anthony Greene. I’ve been wanting to have a singles match with him for a very long time. It was a wonderful experience just knowing the history of the tournament, getting to be a part of the opening ceremony and them talking about the previous winners. It was a great experience.”
On other items on that bucket list: “The list that I put out, there was like 1 or 2 things. I’m a big fan of wrestling tournaments. 2018 WWE Hall of Famer and former Universal Champion Goldberg was interviewed by the Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling, where he discussed his bittersweet Hall of Fame induction. Goldberg first discussed his new show on the History Channel, titled ‘Forged in Fire: Knife or Death’: “It is something that is not out of the norm for me taking on things that I am not an expert at and try to sound like I know what I am talking about. It has given me a great opportunity to learn about something that I am not an expert at like I said. I kind of feed off of the people that are around me, the weapons expert and the blade expert and we’ve kind of got the best of everybody in each given discipline and I try to tie it all together with a little bit of excitement. And heck, my wife is a blacksmith and now I can have a conversation with my wife about forging knives. If I don’t gain anything at least I can talk at the dinner table coherently with my wife about that process.”
