Moose Shockingly Admits He Hated His Wrestling Name, EC3 In WWE

Impact Wrestling star Moose recently spoke with WSVN-TV Entertainment Reporter Chris Van Vliet, where he shockingly admitted that he initially hated his wrestling name. He also discussed EC3 in NXT. He hated the name “Moose”: “A teammate of mine gave it to me during my football days. Hated it. Couldn’t stand it. Hated everybody who called me Moose and now Moose makes me money.”
His thoughts on his friend EC3 signing with NXT: “I talk to him every day. I’m so happy for him, he’s doing great things with the company he’s with now. Everybody knew he was going to be a star wherever he goes. He looks like a Greek god and he talks great on the mic and his in-ring work is great. We all knew he was going to do great things.”
The differences between an NFL locker room and an independent wrestling locker room: “It’s definitely different. You’ve got to understand, in an NFL locker room we probably had the best-looking locker rooms with TVs all over the place and you can get comfortable. In a wre..

Tyler Breeze Reveals How He Was Almost Fired Several Times In His Career

Tyler Breeze and Fandango were recently interviewed on Edge & Christian’s Podcast of Awesomeness where they discussed how Breeze he was nearly fired on several occasions. Fandango first explained how he and Breeze weren’t complacent and pitched gimmicks to get themselves on TV: “It was just example of, like, before tagging with Breezy, you weren’t really booked on TV, so it’s easy just to sit around every week at TV and being frustrated, but I think we utilized the [WWE].com guys really well, just kind of being proactive. And trying to almost, like, pitch our own little gimmick there and I think it’s just a good example of being proactive and just trying to make something happen. And I talk to Breeze all the time and we’re really proud of what we did because no one really gave that to us. We kind of put in the work for that.”
Breeze explains that Vince McMahon didn’t understand The Fashion Files. However, he asked that they keep it going due to the popularity it had on social media: “..

Batista Says WWE Ghosted Him On BattleMania Plans

He waits alone? WrestleMania is built around the idea of drawing in the biggest names in wrestling for a short term appearance. Sure the full time wrestlers are going to play big roles, but the part time stars are the ones that matter the most. Celebrities have a history of playing major roles as well, and with good reason. If you can draw in people who don’t usually watch wrestling, you can get in a fresh and additional audience. Now one would think that combining those categories would be great, but WWE seems to disagree.
The idea worked very well here.

In a new interview with 106.7 The Fan (Washington D.C.), Batista spoke about WWE wanting him back to team with Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 34. Batista was interested and wanted the match to set up another match with Triple H at WrestleMania 35. WWE seemed interested in the idea but, according to Batista, just stopped responding to him. ROH’s Cheeseburger Reveals What His Relationship Is With Chris Jericho

ROH star Cheeseburger was the latest guest on James Walsh’s Interactive Wrestling Radio where he discussed what his relationship with Chris Jericho is, among other topics. On taking part in the ECWA Super 8 Tournament: “Oh, I had a blast. That was definitely one of the things on my bucket list. I, unfortunately, lost in the first round to a great competitor, Anthony Greene. I’ve been wanting to have a singles match with him for a very long time. It was a wonderful experience just knowing the history of the tournament, getting to be a part of the opening ceremony and them talking about the previous winners. It was a great experience.”
On other items on that bucket list: “The list that I put out, there was like 1 or 2 things. I’m a big fan of wrestling tournaments. The Super 8 was one, the Young Lions cup for CHIKARA which I have done was another, King of Trios for CHIKARA is another one, CZW’s Best of the Best, and the IWA Mid South TPI Tournament. That one is a big one on my list. Ano..

Goldberg Talks How Bittersweet It Was To Be Inducted Into The WWE Hall Of Fame

2018 WWE Hall of Famer and former Universal Champion Goldberg was interviewed by the Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling, where he discussed his bittersweet Hall of Fame induction. Goldberg first discussed his new show on the History Channel, titled ‘Forged in Fire: Knife or Death’: “It is something that is not out of the norm for me taking on things that I am not an expert at and try to sound like I know what I am talking about. It has given me a great opportunity to learn about something that I am not an expert at like I said. I kind of feed off of the people that are around me, the weapons expert and the blade expert and we’ve kind of got the best of everybody in each given discipline and I try to tie it all together with a little bit of excitement. And heck, my wife is a blacksmith and now I can have a conversation with my wife about forging knives. If I don’t gain anything at least I can talk at the dinner table coherently with my wife about that process.”
He continues, explaining wh..

Video: Bray Wyatt And Matt Hardy Cut Promo On Being Reunited

“Impact Wrestling” Draws Highest Viewership in Nearly Two Years

They’re moving on up. Over the last few weeks, “Impact Wrestling” has had another change of direction. This time around they’re going with a much simpler style with more basic, easy to follow stories and a long match to close most shows. That’s certainly different than what they’ve done at different times over the years and the shows have gotten a little bit better. The question though is are people watching. This week’s show didn’t have a major match announced coming in, so how many people tuned in for what wasn’t as big of an episode?
Miss the show? Here are some quick highlights.
[This post contains video, click to play]

According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode of “Impact Wrestling” drew 399,000 viewers and a .1 rating in the 18-49 demographic. These numbers are up 10% and 11% respectively from last week’s 362,000 viewers and .09 rating. The rating is the same as it was two weeks ago but the viewership is the highest since the July 5, 2016 episode, which drew 410,000 vi..

Video: Why Does Steve Austin Think His First WWE Title Win Suck?

Oh censored yeah. Twenty years ago, Steve Austin hit a Stone Cold Stunner on Shawn Michaels to become the WWF World Champion for the first time. This changed the wrestling world for the next several years and officially launched the Austin Era. However, there were a few issues working against the wrestlers and as a result, the opinions on the match have been mixed over the years. So all those years later, what did Austin think of the match? In a new interview posted to WWE’s YouTube channel, Austin talked about his thoughts on the match and the build towards the match, including the entire angle with Mike Tyson. As it turns out, Austin isn’t all that pleased with the match, mainly due to both wrestlers being a bit banged up. Austin was coming off his neck injury and Michaels had injured his back a few months earlier, not to mention Michaels’ personal issues, which were running rampant at the time.
As usual, Austin is worth listening to.

The Shield Likely Done in WWE

And that’s about it for them. The Shield is one of the most dominating factions of all time. All three were World Champions at one point (once all in the same night at “Money in the Bank 2016”) and has one of the strongest fan bases you’re going to see no matter what the trio is doing. They were put back together late last year after several years apart, but a long string of injuries and problems might have already brought the team to its second end. If they’re gone, at least they came back in a great way.

According to stillrealtous.com, WWE is producing a new DVD on the group, with the title “The Rise and Fall of the Shield”. This new set looks at their careers since the team’s original split and the title would suggest that the group’s latest run is over. The trio wasn’t able to team together often in their second run due to Roman Reigns being out of the ring due to illness and then Dean Ambrose injuring his arm and putting him on the shel..

Watch: “Stone Cold” Steve Austin vs. The Rock From WrestleMania 19

The third time’s a charm. WWE posted a new video to their YouTube channel today, which shows the full match between “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and The Rock from WrestleMania 19. It was the third match between the two on the “grandest stage of them all.”
You can see the match in its entirety below:
[This post contains video, click to play]

As mentioned, this was the third meeting between the two WWE legends at WrestleMania. Austin had been victorious at WrestleMania 14 and 17; however, The Rock was able to pick up the victory in this final contest between the two.
Editor’s Opinion:
Oh man, do I remember this one. The Rock was playing an arrogant, Hollywood heel, who was constantly badmouthing the fans and singing songs about how much he hated being in the various towns that he was in. It was during this time that he even had a brief encounter with “The Hurricane” that was absolutely hilarious! These two are always magical whenever they are together, and this match was no exception…
