And now it’s confirmed. The Coronavirus has been all over the news as of late and has all but wiped out the American sports scene. This of course includes professional wrestling, with so much of the focus being on WrestleMania. There are other things going on at the same time though and that includes the regular weekly television shows. With a lot left to go before WrestleMania, some decisions have to be made, and one of them has been made in a hurry.
One of the biggest problems with the spread of the virus has been large crowds gathering together. The virus spreads so quickly between people and they take it back wherever they have been. As a result, several states and cities have banned, or at least requested, having such large gatherings of any kind. This can create a problem for wrestling, but WWE has a solution.

It is the kind of thing that can happen at any given time and something that happens in a split second can put them on the shelf for a long time to come. That’s how you fill out a card. We are less than a month away from WrestleMania 36 and the card is starting to come together. However, if this year’s edition is anything like the previous years’ versions, the card is going to be rather full with all kinds of matches on the show. That includes several title matches, many of which will involve multiple challengers. We might know a few more that are coming.
Women’s wrestling has come a long way in just a few years, with the Women’s Titles becoming big deals but also with the addition of Women’s Tag Team Titles. These new titles have added more spots for women to get on the card and that makes things better for everyone involved. Thanks to being sandwiched between Super ShowDown and Wrestlemania, this is a show that has received very little attention and the build has suffered as a result. Neither World Champion is involved here and the likely main event is a #1 contenders match to the Raw Women’s Title. Let’s get to it.
Kickoff Show: Viking Raiders vs. Zack Ryder/Curt Hawkins Ryder and Ivar start things off and it’s an early power display from Ivar, who throws Ryder all over the place. Hawkins comes in and gets the same treatment but a cheap shot from the apron lets Hawkins grab a suplex for two. Hawkins’ neckbreaker gets the same and we hit the chinlock.

On Friday night, Scott Steiner collapsed at an Impact Wrestling taping and was rushed to the hospital. It was not clear what had happened but something was obviously very wrong. The question became what would happen next and while we did get an update on his condition Friday night/Saturday morning, his future was not clear. We now have an idea of what is next for Steiner.
