Popular Star Taking A Break From Wrestling Business

It might be for the best. There are all kinds of wrestlers around the world today and more of them can be seen today than ever before, as the internet now allows fans to see almost any wrestling they like. That can make for some great moments and the discoveries of some incredible talents, but now one of the more promising ones will not be around for the time being.
In a new post to her Twitter account, Kylie Rae has announced that she will be stepping away from wrestling for the time being as she has suffered a relapse in her mental health issues. In her post, she mentioned that she been trying to deal with her situation with marijuana and alcohol and needs time to work towards sobriety. Rae has announced that she will not be appearing for the NWA, Freelance Underground or AAW and there is no word on when she will be returning to the ring. Rae has stepped away from wrestling multiple times due to previous mental health issues.

New Title Match Set For AEW Full Gear

Keep it growing. We are less than a month away from AEW’s next pay per view event and that means it is time for the card to be put together. There are a few matches announced for the card but there are several spots left to fill in before we get to the pay per view. AEW knows that they need to solve the problem and they started doing that this week during Dynamite.
A new title match was set for AEW Full Gear during this week’s edition of Dynamite, as Women’s Champion Britt Baker agreed to defend her title against Tay Conti. This comes after Conti saved her friend Anna Jay from an attack at Baker’s hands and held up the Women’s Title on Rampage. This will be Conti’s second shot at the title, as Hikaru Shida defeated her in a title match on April 21, 2021.
They have some history together. Check how we got here, plus both of them in action:

Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory 2021 Results

Bound For Glory 2021
Date: October 23, 2021
Location: Sam’s Town Live, Las Vegas, Nevada
Commentators: Matt Striker, D’Lo Brown
It’s the biggest night of the year for Impact Wrestling and we have a pretty stacked card. The main event is the battle of Canada as Impact Wrestling World Champion Christian Cage is defending against Josh Alexander. The second biggest match on the card is probably Deonna Purrazzo defending the Knockouts Title against Mickie James in a grudge match. Let’s get to it.
Pre-Show: Digital Media Title: Jordynne Grace vs. Madison Rayne vs. John Skyler vs. Chelsea Green vs. Crazzy Steve vs. Fallah Bahh One fall to a finish for the inaugural title, which will be defended on online shows and Rayne is replacing Tenille Dashwood for reasons that are not clear. Skyler poses in the middle of the ring to start and is promptly beaten down by everyone else. Bahh clears the ring save for Grace, who actually drops him with a running shoulder. A running Vader Bomb gives Grace t..

All Kinds Of Title Changes Take Place Over The Weekend

It lived up to the hype. There are a lot of wrestling promotions in the world today and some of them are bigger than others. While WWE and AEW are going to get most of the attention, you can find all kinds of wrestling outside of the major two promotions. There are some with a deep history of their own and now one of the biggest has had its most important night of the year.
Impact Wrestling held its annual Bound For Glory event over the weekend, with six title changes taking place over nine matches. There were two vacant titles won, as Jordynne Grace won the inaugural Digital Media Championship in a six way match on the Pre-Show, followed by Trey Miguel winning the vacant X-Division Title in a triple threat match also involving El Phantasmo and Steve Maclin.
There were three traditional title changes. The show’s opening match saw the debuting IInspiration defeating Decay to win the Knockouts Tag Team Titles. Later in the show, Mickie James defeated Deonna Purrazzo to win the Knockout..

Watch: Huge Segment Involving CM Punk From After AEW Dynamite

We’re not quite done. There are a lot of wrestling events throughout any given week and some of them are a little bit bigger than others. The most prominent ones are on television, where you see some of the top stars in all of the industry. That can make for some very exciting moments, but the fans actually in attendance get even more. They certainly got more this week.
According to PWInsider.com, Cody Rhodes talked to the fans after this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite ended. Rhodes wanted to make new memories in Orlando, Florida and called out Fuego del Sol, Griff Garrison, Negative One and Sammy Guevara. Everyone was eventually interrupted by the Acclaimed, with Max Caster rapping about how no one cares about everyone in the ring.
Caster also complained about AEW President Tony Khan not allowing them on Dynamite for not allowing the team on Dynamite for 160 days. Khan came out and said the fans were here to see CM Punk rather than the Acclaimed. This led to Punk coming out and ever..

Congratulations: WWE Couple Announce Their Engagement

Good for them! Wrestling is a very unique form of work and it comes with a rather unique lifestyle. Wrestlers are constantly on the road and it can be difficult to find a way to have a normal life. This certainly includes romantic relationships outside of the industry, but two current wrestling names have found a way around that. As it turns out, things seem to be going very well.
Monday Night Raw’s Carmella has announced that she and WWE broadcaster are engaged, with Graves proposing to her on Saturday. Carmella accepted, though there is no word on when the two will be getting married. Graves and Carmella have been dating since 2019 and are now on the same WWE brands following the 2021 Draft. In addition, the proposal came on Carmella’s birthday.

VIDEO: AEW Star Suffers Terrifying Crash, Seems To Be Ok

That could have been horrible. No matter how skilled or trained a wrestler may be, there is always the chance that something could go wrong during a match. Anything from a mistake to a slip to some kind of an equipment malfunction could cause major problems and someone could get hurt as a mistake. Some of these can look a lot worse than others and that was the case this weekend.
This week’s AEW Dynamite featured a match between Lance Archer and Eddie Kingston. During the match, Archer attempted a moonsault but landed on top of his head. Archer rolled to the floor for a few moments before returning to the ring, where Kingston immediately rolled him up for the pin. Archer has since posted about the incident, saying “I’ll live! Thank ya Lord!” and talking about how he under rotated on the moonsault and it could have been much worse. He also thanked AEW for taking care of him and promised to be back.

WRESTLING RUMORS: Major Promotional Partnership Coming To An End

And so, it ends for AEW. The wrestling world has changed a lot in recent years and those changes are likely to continue for a long time to come. There have been a lot of shifts and moves throughout the industry and some of them have been very interesting. You have seen promotions working together more and more, but now one of those arrangements is coming to an end.
According to Ringsidenews.com, the working relationship between AEW and Impact Wrestling is scheduled to end after this weekend’s Bound For Glory pay per view. The two promotions have been sharing talent throughout the course of the year, with various AEW wrestlers appearing in Impact Wrestling and the Good Brothers and Don Callis appearing in AEW. There is no word on why the arrangement is ending and nothing to suggest any bad blood. AEW’s Christian Cage lost the Impact Wrestling World Title to Josh Alexander at Bound For Glory.
The partnership did some great things. Check out some of the collaborations:

Another Former WWE Star Appears On AEW Dynamite

Meet the new one. AEW has put together quite the roster over its history and part of that is due to bringing in new wrestlers here and there. Sometimes you need to add in some fresh blood, which is what AEW often does well. You can get those wrestlers from a variety of places and now it seems that they are at least interested in bringing in someone who used to wrestle elsewhere.
During this week’s AEW Dynamite, former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Tony Nese was shown sitting in the crowd multiple times and was acknowledged by commentary. There is no word on if Nese has signed with AEW or if he is scheduled to wrestle at any point in the future. Nese was released from his WWE contract in June of this year, ending a run with the company that began in 2016.
You might need a refresher. Check out some of Nese’s time in WWE:

AEW Dynamite Results – October 23, 2021

Dynamite
Date: October 23, 2021
Location: Addition Financial Arena, Orlando, Florida
Commentators: Jim Ross, Excalibur, Tony Schiavone
It’s another tournament focused show as we continue the World Title Eliminator Tournament and begin the TBS Title Tournament. We are also less than a month away from Full Gear and that show is going to need some more attention sooner than later. The card is being set up, but it rarely feels like something that is receiving focus. AEW knows how to pull these things off though so let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
World Title Eliminator Tournament First Round: Bryan Danielson vs. Dustin Rhodes Feeling out process to start with Rhodes seeming to be a bit nervous to go after him. Danielson takes him down by the legs and ties them up in kind of an Indian deathlock. Back up and Rhodes hits the drop down uppercut but gets knocked to the floor, setting up the suicide dive.
Dustin is right back up with a flip dive off the apron and scores with a belly to bac..

Backstage Altercation Takes Place Between Charlotte And Becky Lynch

They don’t sound happy. There are a lot of wrestlers on the WWE roster today and it is not surprising that not all of them are going to get along. Sometimes you are going to see people who have some kind of an issue and it can lead to things getting a little more intense than they should. It seems that was the case this week backstage over something that took place on television.
The closing segment of this week’s SmackDown saw Charlotte and Becky Lynch exchange their respective Women’s Titles due to being drafted to other brands. However, according to PWInsider.com, the segment did not come off as planned. Charlotte had not liked the plan for the segment throughout the day, fearing that it would make her look weak.
During the segment, Charlotte dropped her title instead of handing it to Lynch. As a result, Lynch threw her own title at Charlotte before the segment ended as planned. This led to a backstage altercation between the two, as Lynch accused Charlotte of trying to make her l..

Great Health News On Two Wrestling Legends

That’s great to hear. Wrestlers are larger than life characters who are on our televisions almost every week, but there is another side to them that we rarely see. Aside from just their wrestling careers, they also have real lives outside of the ring and that can include having some problems. Two legends certainly did have some problems as of late, but things might be getting a bit better.
There is some good news on the health statuses of two wrestling legends. First, Jim Duggan has been released from the hospital following emergency surgery earlier this week. There is no word on what was wrong with Duggan in the first place, but he has sent out a message on Instagram, saying that he is going home to full recuperate after two nights in the hospital.
In addition, Brian Knobs of the Nasty Boys has posted a new message to Facebook, revealing that he has lost 60lbs while still in the hospital and continues to undergo rehabilitation. Knobs has been in the hospital since August with a vari..
