Update On WWE’s Future WrestleMania Plans
They have a plan. WrestleMania is less than two weeks away and WWE seems to have the card entirely set. What matters now is selling as many tickets as possible, which is quite the trick for the whole situation. WWE does know how to make people care about their shows, but this year is especially difficult with the show taking place over two nights at AT&T Stadium. It might not be a one year challenge though.
Dave Meltzer appeared on this week’s Sunday Night’s Main Event podcast and talked about this year’s WrestleMania. Meltzer mentioned that the backstage feeling in WWE is that all future WrestleMania events will be held over the course of two nights. This year’s event is being seen as a test to see how tickets will sell for a two night WrestleMania, as WWE feels it is better than the seven hour, one night WrestleMania.
