It can happen to anyone. There are all kinds of injuries that can slow a wrestler down out of nowhere and unfortunately there is very little that can be done to prevent them. While wrestlers can train and practice all they want, there is always the chance that something could go wrong. Unfortunately that seems to have happened to a pair of AEW stars in rapid succession.

According to new reports, two AEW stars are injured. First, according to Wrestling Observer Live, Luchasaurus may have suffered some sort of arm injury. Last week on Dynamite, Luchasaurus used a left armed chokeslam on Jungle Boy. There is no word on his condition, but he is currently scheduled to face Jungle Boy in a cage match This Saturday at Full Gear. He’s a workhorse. WWE has quite a few stars on its roster and it can be rather difficult to keep track of everyone. It also takes a lot to stand out above the others, but you know someone special in the company when you see them. That can make for some impressive moments and it seems that another WWE star has gotten the company’s attention in a positive way.

According to PWInsider.com, Drew McIntyre has received praise from WWE for the effort he put in on the recent international tour. McIntyre was reportedly sick during Crown Jewel but insisted on facing Karrion Kross anyway. He also wrestled on European shows, filmed a role WWE set up for him in India, returned home for SmackDown and wrestled on two live events over the last few weeks. There is no word on if McIntyre is back to full health after his illness.

He might be worth a look. Back in the late 1990s, Steve Austin took the wrestling world by storm and went on to become an all time legend of the sport. Austin was one of the few names who became known to the masses outside of wrestling and continues to be a legend today. That was clear earlier this year at WrestleMania 38 and it might still be taking place in the future.

Austin wrestled his first match in nineteen years back in April at WrestleMania 38, defeating Kevin Owens in the main event of the show’s first night. According to Fightful Select, WWE has made an offer for Austin to wrestle again at some point in the future. While not confirmed, Fightful’s sources believe it would be for WrestleMania 39 in April 2023. However, the two sides were said to initially be “far apart” on terms, though there is no word on if they had come closer to working out a deal.

While several wrestlers will win championships at some point in their career, they will ultimately lose them at some point. That leaves few honors that last forever, but now another group of wrestlers will be receiving such praise.

The inaugural class of the Women’s Wrestling Hall Of Fame has been announced. The 2023 class will include 18 entries, with 16 individuals, one tag team and one promotion. Inductions will take place at various locations, including at Icons Of Wrestling in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on December 17 and at an upcoming World Classic Professional Big Time Wrestling event in Ohio. The Women’s Wrestling Hall Of Fame will be associated with the International Wrestling Hall Of Fame in Albany, New York.

On the November 12, 2018 Monday Night Raw, SmackDown’s Becky Lynch invaded the show to attack Monday Night Raw’s Ronda Rousey, setting up their Survivor Series match six days later. A brawl broke out between the two shows’ women’s divisions, with Lynch being punched by Nia Jax. The punch busted Lynch open and left her with a concussion, causing Lynch vs. Rousey to be postponed. Certain stars become some of the top names in all of wrestling and there are very few wrestlers who are able to come close to matching them. WWE Hall Of Famer Trish Stratus and legend Mickie James have posted a video to their Instagrams showing them heading to MCM Comic Con in Birmingham, England. The two were riding in the back of a car and invited fans to come see them while talking about their history together. James and Stratus feuded in WWE in 2006, with James defeating Stratus to win the WWE Women’s Title.

There’s one more on the list. We are less than two weeks away from WWE Survivor Series and that means it is time to start getting the card together. There is still plenty of room on the show for more matches, several of which have already been set up over the last few months. That just leaves the matches to be made official, one of which was covered this week.

This week on Monday Night Raw, a new match was announced for Survivor Series, as AJ Styles challenged Finn Balor to meet him one on one. Balor accepted the match later in the show and it was officially confirmed. This comes after the two of them have been feuding as part of the OC vs. Judgment Day feud. There is no word on if the rest of the teams will be involved as well.

Monday Night Raw

We are less than two weeks away from Survivor Series and that means it is time to start building some things up for the show. While we have a few matches, the real focus is going to be on WarGames. It looks like Raw will only be supplying the women’s match and more of the lineup needs to be locked in. Let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
Here is Seth Rollins to get things going and we see a package on Austin Theory’s failed cash in last week. Last week, he put out an open challenge and now there are people coming out of the woodwork for a shot at the title. Rollins talks about the cash-in and the fans say THAT WAS STUPID. Rollins is ready to defend against Finn Balor tonight but here is Bobby Lashley to interrupt. Rollins isn’t worried and brings up the loss to Brock Lesnar, so here is Mustafa Ali to interrupt. Lashley tosses him out with ease so Ali jumps ..

That’s never good. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to any wrestler and you never want to see one take place. Any wrestler can be injured at any point in time and there is nothing to suggest when it is going to happen. This is true of any star and unfortunately a bigger WWE name has suffered what could be a pretty serious injury in the ring.

According to F4WOnline.com, Kevin Owens was injured during a WWE live event in Madison, Wisconsin over the weekend. During the match against Austin Theory, Owens planted on his right knee and came up favoring it, resulting in what is believed to be an MCL sprain. Owens finished the match but had to be helped to the back. There is no word on how much ring time Owens could miss due to the injury.

It didn’t work so well. Wrestlers have a very difficult job to do as they have quite a few things to do every time they go to the ring. At the same time, they are doing these things in front of a live audience with no replays. Sometimes a mistake will take place and unfortunately some of them can be seen rather clearly. Now we know what likely caused a recent one.

This week on SmackDown, Shotzi won a Six Pack Challenge to become the new #1 contender to the SmackDown Women’s Title. During the match, Liv Morgan dove at Raquel Rodriguez in an attempt to drive her through a table, but the dive was left short and the table was barely grazed. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, this was the result of miscommunication, as the original spot called for the table to be in a different place. Hopefully it gets better. Sami Zayn has risen up the WWE ladder several rungs in recent months and it seems that he may be on the way to a major match or moment sooner or later. His reactions are getting bigger and bigger every week but that was not the case at the most recent SmackDown. It seems that he is going through something rather sad and he might have made it public.

Zayn missed this week’s SmackDown due to what was described as a personal reason. He has since sent out a tweet in Arabic, which is translated into a phrase that is spoken when someone close passes away. Zayn did not reveal who it was or what happened. WWE has already advertised that Zayn will be returning to SmackDown next week, where he will take part in the first round of the SmackDown World Cup, facing Butch.

Time to pay it off. Wrestlers have a lot to do to get ready for their time in the ring and sometimes it can be a big overwhelming. It can help to have a little help with some of the more mundane tasks and some wrestlers can get that assistance. Two WWE stars were in one of those roles each as the result of a recent bet, and now we get to see just how far things went.

WWE has posted a video from backstage at this week’s SmackDown, where Drew Gulak had to do everything that Raquel Rodriguez told him to do throughout the day. This is the result of Gulak losing a World Series bet to Rodriguez when his Philadelphia Phillies lost to Rodriguez’s Houston Astros. As a result, Gulak had to do things such as open Rodriguez’s door, get her lunch, shine her boots and bring her water after her match.
