WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Discusses Bringing Back Hell In A Cell MUCH Earlier Than Expected

Is that a crossover? WWE has several major match types that it will use at certain times. The company will regularly bring out one match after another at specific times on the calendar, though that might be changing under the new regime. We might be seeing that exact change take place very soon, as a major match might be taking place outside of the normal time.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Go Your Own Way: Speculation Over William Regal Jumping Back From AEW To WWE
On January 28, WWE will present the 2023 Royal Rumble from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. According to Wrestlingnew.co’s Twitter, WWE has has discussed including a Hell In A Cell match on the card, though nothing has been confirmed. There is also no word on who the match would include. Go Your Own Way: Speculation Over William Regal Jumping Back From AEW To WWE

That’s fast. The rise of AEW has changed the wrestling landscape, as there is now a brand new wrestling promotion offering wrestlers a new platform on the national stage. That is something that has been lacking for a very long time now and has resulted in several wrestlers being able to jump from one promotion to another. Now we might be seeing someone going back to their original promotion after making a jump.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: What Happened: More On Kevin Owens/Roman Reigns Incident At Survivor Series

REVIEW: WWF Houston Live Event – December 10, 1987: The Goodish Old Days

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over ten years now and have reviewed over 5,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net, starting today. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be?

Date: December 10, 1987
Location: Sam Houston Coliseum, Houston, Texas
Commentators: Bruce Pritchard, Mike McGuirk, Duke Doherty
Oh that commentary team is going to kill me today. Not really sure of what to expect on this card as I haven’t seen the details of it. The matches would probably be fallout from Survivor Series and leading up to the Rumble….which doesn’t tell us much at all as that was more or less Andre vs. Hogan and that’s about it. Anyway, I love the late 80s so let’s get t..

What Happened: More On Kevin Owens/Roman Reigns Incident At Survivor Series

Like a slap in the face. Wrestling is a difficult sport to pull off as while it is an athletic endeavor and the wrestlers are having to do all kinds of things in front of a live audience, they also have to keep everyone else in the ring with them safe. That can occasionally go wrong, and now a top WWE star seems a little upset by something that went wrong during a major match.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: LOOK: WWE Drops Hint At 46 Year Old Former Champion’s Possible Return
The main event of last weekend’s Survivor Series saw the Bloodline defeat Team McIntyre in WarGames. Following the match, reports surfaced of Roman Reigns being upset at an unplanned spot with Kevin Owens, which resulted in Reigns suffering a possible ear injury. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the spot involved a hard slap from Owens to Reigns, which resulted in a bruise on Reigns’ eye and the possible ruptured eardrum. Reigns was said to be mad after the incident and there is a chance that he is not completely ..

LOOK: WWE Drops Hint At 46 Year Old Former Champion’s Possible Return

Call it a hint? WWE stars are forced to move around a lot as there are only so many places to put them at any given time. Occasionally they are forced to leave for reasons against their will, such as getting hurt. Unfortunately there is no way around something like this and the question becomes how long it will be before they are able to come back. WWE may have dropped a hint about one such upcoming return.
WWE has released a new photo gallery featuring images of wrestlers supporting their nations teams for the FIFA World Cup. One such photo includes Bobby Roode representing his native Canada. Roode also had a SmackDown logo behind his picture, indicating that he is still part of the SmackDown roster. Roode has not wrestled since June 25 and underwent surgery in September. There is no word on when he will be returning to the ring.

That’s What’s Up: Internal WWE Memo Reveals Several New Survivor Series Records

It deserves some praise. WWE runs several events a year, some of which are among the biggest shows put on by any wrestling company in the world. It means a lot for a star to appear on one of those shows as there is great exposure than on almost any other platform. That is the case this week as well, and now we know just how big things were on a recent major event.

WATCH: Shocking Betrayal Takes Place On AEW Dynamite

That’s a twist. There are several different ways to present a wrestling storyline, with some of them being fairly obvious. You can see where things are going from the start and then the story does not veer too far one way or another. That is not always how things go though, as occasionally there will be a major twist. We saw another one this week, even if it was the most logical surprise you could have.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: They’re Back: Two Surprise Returns Take Place On AEW Dynamite
This week’s AEW Dynamite featured the first comments from Maxwell Jacob Friedman since he wont he World Title at Full Gear with the help of William Regal. During Friedman’s comments, he spoke about how great Regal was before using Regal’s brass knuckles to attack Regal from behind. Friedman then spoke to the unconscious Regal, using the same terms that Regal used in an email to Friedman in the past, telling him that he wasn’t good enough for WWE. Regal was then taken out on a stretcher.

AEW Dynamite Results – November 30, 2022

Dynamite
Date: November 30, 2022
Location: Indiana Farmers Coliseum, Indianapolis, Indiana
Commentators: Excalibur, Taz, Tony Schiavone
We’ll wrap up the month here as MJF should be here for the first time as World Champion. That alone should be a heck of a moment, but we also need to get more of the build towards Final Battle out of the way. There isn’t much set for the show but that should change this week. Let’s get to it.
Here is Jon Moxley to get things going. He talks about working to get here and what a wild ride it has been. There are three constants in life: death, taxes and Jon Moxley. No one can out work him, out fight him, out wrestle him or anything else. There is not one man who has the guts to come out here and tell him any different….and here is the returning Hangman Page. Moxley asks if Page wants to do this after what happened, if he can remember it. Page comes up swinging and the fight is on, with referees and security needing multiple attempts to break it up.

They’re Back: Two Surprise Returns Take Place On AEW Dynamite

Welcome back. There are all kinds of wrestlers on the AEW roster and it can be difficult to find something for all of them to do. AEW has quite the balancing act on its hands but some of the wrestlers often fall through the cracks. That can be true for a variety of reasons, including injuries. Now though, two recently injured stares are back and seem to be ready to go.

There were two returns this week on AEW Dynamite. The show opened with Jon Moxley talking about how no one was man enough to face him, which drew out Hangman Page for a brawl. This was Page’s first appearance since the October 18 edition of Dynamite when he was accidentally injured during a match with Moxley. Later in the show, Ruby Soho returned and attacked Tay Melo and Anna Jay. This was Soho’s first appearance since All Out, when she suffered a broken nose.

Ouch: Damage Ctrl Member’s Neck Issues May Be More Serious Than They Seem

That could be bad. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to a wrestler as you never know what one could mean. Some of them are a lot worse than others too, as someone could be hurt without knowing what is going on. There might be some hints behind the scenes though and that seems to be taking place again with a certain Monday Night Raw star.

There is no word on what kind of injury Sky could have or if she will be missing any time from the ring as a result. There is ..

Good News: Wrestling Legend’s Health Reportedly Improves After Rough Patch

That’s an improvement. While they are not always credited as such, wrestlers are very talented athletes who regularly get in the ring and put their bodies on the line. There are always going to be risks involved with wrestling and some of the problems do not show up until after a wrestler’s career is over. That is the case with an all time legend, but things might be doing a bit better.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: To The Other Side: WWE Twitter Fans Gush Over Possible Upcoming Heel Turn
Earlier this year, reports began to surface that Hulk Hogan was undergoing health issues, mainly related to his back. During a recent edition of his To Be The Man podcast, Ric Flair revealed that he had been in contact with Hogan, whose back is said to be doing much better. Hogan still regularly appears at his Florida beach shops and in commercials for the stores.
These are two legends. Check out what the two of them can do on their own and together:

To The Other Side: WWE Twitter Fans Gush Over Possible Upcoming Heel Turn

That might be a sign. With so many wrestlers around in WWE and so much television to film, it can be easy for a wrestler to begin feeling stale. In those cases, it makes sense for something to be changed, including a wrestler going from good to evil or vice versa. Sometimes those changes can be easier to spot than others and that might have been the case this week.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Not Full Strength: WWE Star Very Sick, Lost 15lbs In Last Week And A Half
This week on Monday Night Raw, Bianca Belair, Asuka and Alexa Bliss were in the back talking when Bray Wyatt’s symbol popped up on a monitor behind them. Bliss seemed distracted and would not stop looking at Belair’s Raw Women’s Title. Eventually when Bliss was asked a question about Becky Lynch joining their WarGames team, she snapped back to reality and answered, albeit halfheartedly. This latest incident involving Bliss and Wyatt’s symbol have led to speculation about an upcoming heel turn.
