That’s a bad hausen. There are all kinds of wrestlers in the world and some of them are very different than the norm. Those wrestlers stand out in one way or another, possibly due to how they wrestle, look or act. In some cases it is all of those things at once, but now one of the most unique wrestlers around today is going to be out of action for a rather long time.

AEW star Danhausen revealed on Twitter that he suffered a torn pectoral muscle during his match at Revolution. Danhausen was part of a four way match for the Tag Team Titles where the Gunns retained the titles. There is no word on when Danhausen will be able to return to the ring or if he will be missing time from AEW TV. Danhausen has wrestled less than ten televised matches (not counting web series matches) since his AEW debut in January 2022.

A different kind of match. WWE is a lot of things, but ultimately they are a business. They just happen to be a business that has a worldwide audience, which can be very lucrative for advertisers who want to get their name on WWE programming. As a result, occasionally you will see product placement in a match. WWE did just that earlier this year, and now they seem to be doing it again.

Earlier this year, WWE presented The Mountain Dew Pitch Black match at the Royal Rumble. A WWE official later suggested that we could be seeing another such match at WrestleMania 39, with a hint at the sponsor being Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. Today, WWE’s Xavier Woods released a video on his Instagram, showing New Day meeting various pieces of cereal, called the Cinnamojis, who want to become luchadors. This is NOT confirmed to be WrestleMania related however.

They can change. We are less than three weeks away from WrestleMania 39 and the show is mostly put together. If a match has not been made, it has at least been hinted at and will likely be set up in the next week or so. That does not leave much to be done, but it does leave some matches that were never made in the first place. Now we know what some of those original ideas seem to have been.

As previously reported, WWE had pitched a Steve Austin vs. Brock Lesnar match for WrestleMania, with Austin turning it down. According to Sports Illustrated, the original plan for WrestleMania called for Lesnar to face Bobby Lashley, which was dropped to make way for the Austin match. A Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt match was considered but never set. Gunther was another option for Lesnar, but WWE reportedly feels he is a year away from being ready for that match. The boss is back. There have been a good number of wrestling stories this year but the biggest has been the return of Vince McMahon to WWE to set up the sale of the company. That could be the kind of change that shakes up the wrestling world, but some have been left wondering what McMahon would do with the day to day operations of the company. Now we might have a slightly better idea.

McMahon was backstage in Boston for the March 6 Monday Night Raw. According to Sports Illustrated, McMahon “purposefully stayed out of the way” and made it clear that he was not involved with the show. While McMahon did sit in the Gorilla position, he spent most of the night on his phone and did not offer any input while Triple H was giving wrestlers feedback. McMahon was not at this week’s Monday Night Raw.

They deserve it. Wrestlers are not exactly like most people working at a job, as they are often going all over the country or even the world to ply their trade. It is rare for them to get to head back to where they call home and even rarer for them to get to wrestle in such a place. Now two legends were able to do so this week and they had something to do after the show was over.

This week’s edition of AEW Dynamite took place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The main event featured a triple threat match for the Trios Titles, with Winnipeg’s own Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega taking part. According to PWInsider.com, both of them addressed the live fans after the event went off the air. Omega sat in the ring and waited to get a microphone, allowing him to never forget where you come from. He talked about various places he wrestled in the city and said that AEW would likely be bac..

That’s something special. With so many wrestlers on the WWE roster, someone has to step up and become one of the more prominent voices backstage. This can be done in a variety of ways but one of the most effective ways to lead is by example. WWE has a few names who have done this, and now another star has stepped into the role by doing something impressive.

According to PWInsider.com, SmackDown’s Drew McIntyre was ill last week and was only cleared to compete when he arrived to the arena. McIntyre was involved in a fatal five way match to crown a new #1 contender to the Intercontinental Title, which he co-won with Sheamus. Actions such as this has earned McIntyre respect in the locker room, where he is viewed as a leader for working through injuries and illnesses over the years. Maybe later? WWE presents all kinds of events throughout the year but only saves its biggest matches for the most important cards. These matches often include some of the top matches you will see all year and WWE has a history of building them up in advance. Now it seems that they might have moved a potential WrestleMania match to one of the other biggest nights on their calendar.

One of the matches reportedly considered for WrestleMania 39 would have seen John Cena face Logan Paul. Instead, WWE is presenting Paul vs. Seth Rollins an Cena vs. Austin Theory for the United States Title. However, according to WrestleVotes by way of GiveMeSport, both Cena and Paul were interested in having the match and there is a chance that it could take place at Summerslam.
