In The Bank Ladder Bout, Penta Wins Men’s Money

Pro Wrestling News In The Bank Ladder Bout, Penta Wins Men’s Money

As it turns out, Penta has officially become Mr. Money in the Bank after winning the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Showdown in the main premium live event of WWE Money in the Bank 2026.

The premium live special event concluded Saturday, October 10, at the Smoothie King Center in Latest Orleans, Louisiana, with Penta overcoming Bron Breakker, CM Punk, Kevin Owens, Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans to capture the coveted briefcase.

The victory guarantees Penta a future World Championship opportunity at a time and place of his choosing.

The six-man ladder match featured several high-risk moments, with Breakker emerging as one of the most dominant competitors throughout the contest.

The impact prompted officials to check on Evans, who was eventually placed on a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance.

One of the biggest spots occurred when Breakker delivered a devastating spear to Evans as he attempted a dive to the outside.

Breakker continued his assault on the remaining competitors, delivering multiple spears, including a sequence that sent Punk and Owens crashing through the ringside barricade.

That said, Evans’ involvement in the match was far from over.

In an unexpected development, the ambulance returned to ringside, with Evans emerging from the vehicle and using its door to attack Breakker.

Evans then returned to the ring and unleashed a series of attacks on several opponents before setting up an enormous ladder in an attempt to retrieve the briefcase.

Breakker eventually recovered and stopped Evans by tipping over the ladder, sending him crashing through the ambulance positioned outside the ring.

With the other competitors down, Breakker emerged to have a clear opportunity to secure the victory as he began climbing toward the suspended briefcase.

Penta returned to the ring at the crucial moment, pulling Breakker off the ladder and connecting with a superkick.

Penta then positioned another ladder horizontally to create a bridge before attempting to climb toward the briefcase.

Breakker followed him up the same side of the ladder, leading to a final confrontation between the two competitors.

Penta managed to fight off Breakker and delivered a spectacular Mexican Destroyer that sent him crashing onto the bridged ladder, leaving him unable to prevent the finish.

With the path finally clear, Penta climbed the ladder and unhooked the briefcase to win the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Bout.

The victory represents a major milestone for Penta, who now holds a guaranteed opportunity to challenge for a World Championship whenever he decides to cash in his arrangement.

Penta joins Tiffany Stratton as the two Money in the Bank winners from Saturday night’s premium live premium live event, with both competitors now holding contracts that could significantly impact WWE’s championship picture in the months ahead.
