It’s an epidemic. Earlier this week, news came out that Finn Balor was sick and had to come home early from the South American tour. While it isn’t clear if Balor is going to be ready to compete at this Sunday’s TLC event, he likely should be good to go. However, it turns out that Balor isn’t the only person in the WWE locker room who is under the weather at the moment.
According to their social media accounts, both Mandy Rose and Alexa Bliss are both ill as well at the moment. There is no word on if this is the same illness as Balor, but according to Cagesideseats.com, Rose’s illness is believed to be the reason why she missed her scheduled match against Naomi earlier this week on SmackDown live. Both noted that they were sick on their Twitter accounts:

He’s a bit on the insane side at times but is also willing to get in the ring and do whatever it takes to get a story or another wrestler over. That’s a big one. The WWE has gone out of their way to expand the NXT UK brand. After this weekend’s announcement of the first ever NXT UK Takeover, it’s clear that WWE has some big plans around here. The talent is already there on the brand, but you need some big names in there to really make an impact. Sometimes you need a big name here or there, and that’s what WWE seems to have done.
According to PWInsider.com, WWE has signed top European name WALTER (as it is spelled). The current Progress Wrestling World Champion, WALTER is a big man who wrestles a power style and is well known for his chops. He recently dropped the PWG World Title, which may have been for the sake of signing with WWE. At the moment this would be for the NXT UK brand only, though there is a chance that he could come over to work some regular NXT dates.

Pull back that curtain. Last Sunday, WWE presented their the annual Survivor Series event, featuring almost every big name wrestler on their roster. The show was packed and treated like the big deal that it is, which allowed for some major moments and good action. It’s easy to praise the wrestlers for their performances in front of the camera, but what about what they go through behind the curtain?
These are always cool to see. You never really know what they’re going through before the show:

WWE has released a new video looking behind the scenes at Survivor Series. The video looks at the roster during the entire day leading up to the event, with shots of everyone in the gorilla position as they’re ready to come to the ring. Each of them are shown in order according to where their matches took place on the show, making it a bit more organized than you might expect.

Vroom vroom. Picture a wrestler coming into the arena. Most of the time it’s going to be the wrestlers walking to the ring for whatever they’re doing and that’s perfectly fine. It’s as simple of a concept as you can get, but on bigger occasions you need to change things up. Instead of walking, sometimes the wrestlers show up in a car, and that can create some rather awesome moments.

WWE has posted a new video looking at 8 Cool Car Entrances. These range from throughout the years with wrestlers coming into the arena in various kinds of vehicles. Most of them were special moments and one off appearances, but others are the regular entrances that became trademarks. Not all of them were in regular cars either, with several of them being some kind of a special vehicle.
Opinion: These are pretty cool and that’s exactly what they were shooting for here. Having a wrestler come in on some kind of vehicle feels big, ..

Sometimes you need to mix things up. Violence has been a part of wrestling for a long time now. You could see it in a variety of styles, but one of the most common is street fights. These things are often a basic way to include some weapons, many of which you see in any given version of the match. Sometimes you have to shake things up though, and that’s where WWE is going today.

WWE has posted a new Top Ten video looking at the Strangest Street Fights. The video looks at various street fights that might have had some kind of a gimmick, which mainly include a theme. This might be something from a holiday or the city where the show is taking place. Most of these are more modern instances, but some of them do go back a few years.

We’re into a new area on this show as Buddy Murphy successfully defended the Cruiserweight Title against Mustafa Ali this Sunday at Survivor Series. That means we need a new challenger, but I can’t imagine that takes place tonight. 205 Live likes to set things up at a slightly slower pace and you never know when they’ll have their next title match anyway. Let’s get to it.
The opening recap focuses on the pretty awesome title match with Ali coming up short again.

It’s a holiday week and that means things were being done a little differently this time around. The main focus was the fallout from Survivor Series which…was odd. There were some good moments though and that could make for some interesting choices in the highlight department. Let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
Ember Moon vs. Alicia Fox Fox flips her down to start but Moon is right back up, much to Fox’s annoyance. A headscissors has Moon in more trouble and there’s a shot to the face for bad measure. Back up and Moon charges into some boots in the corner, followed by a hair pull to the mat. There’s a flipping neckbreaker to keep Moon in trouble. The chinlock goes on with Moon being pulled back down by the hair. Moon makes the comeback with some flying forearms but Fox gets two off a big boot. Ember hits Wade Barrett’s spinning suplex out of t..

Heading into WWE TLC, Ronda Rousey will defend the Raw Women’s Title against Nia Jax. A lot of people might not be happy to see Jax receive a push after her botch, but the fans are in an interesting place with the Raw Women’s Champion as well. Rousey is still adjusting to performing inside the ring and there are some harsh criticisms against her.
For instance, she has been criticized for smiling too much during her entrance and not creating an atmosphere like she should. A report from RingSideNews revealed that the powers that be want her to do “her entrance” regardless of the events heading into the match. That impacts the coming match because it doesn’t seem Ronda is in character.
