RUMOR: WWE Changing Another Major Show

It’s the next logical step. The spread of the Coronavirus has changed the way wrestling (and everything else) works in the world. It has certainly impacted wrestling, causing the rise of taped shows among top level wrestling promotions and no fans at WrestleMania 36. Those are the kind of changes that you do not see every day but they might be extending into the future.
While WrestleMania is coming up very soon, there are a lot more WWE shows to consider in the near future. With so many things for WWE to do at the moment, they still have a lot to think about as they go forward. That does not make things easier right now, but it is something that has to be done. One of the things is preparing for future shows, and that could mean changing venues again.
According to the WrestleVotes Twitter account, WWE is likely going to be changed to a new venue as well. The show, currently scheduled for May 9 in Baltimore, Maryland, is facing issues with the efforts to fight the Coronavirus and as a..

WWE Brings Back Old School Treat Nationwide

The good news that we need. Sometimes people need to smile and there are certain things that are going to cause that almost every time. While it might not be everyone’s favorite, one of the most accurate ways to go is through some nice sweets, which can come in many forms. As you might expect, WWE knows how to get in on something like this and that is what they have done again.
If you remember the late 1980s, or perhaps the Summer of Punk in WWE, the company has a history with a certain kind of dessert. That would of course be WWE ice cream bars, which have become something so popular that they even have their own merchandise. It’s something that fans have been wanting to see back for a long time and after a lot of mentions, the day has finally come.
According to Good Humor via Twitter, the WWE Superstar Cookie Sandwiches have been released nationwide and are available via delivery in select markets via the Ice Cream Shop. There are currently four Superstars available, including Rand..

WWE Superstars Receiving Special Honor This Weekend

Tis the season. Wrestling occupies a weird place in the middle of athletics, acting and celebrity status. That is the kind of place that a lot of people are never able to escape, but every now and then, a wrestler is allowed to see how far they can go in the mainstream sports world. It isn’t the most common thing in the world, but it tends to happen around WrestleMania season, which is the case again this year.
WrestleMania brings a lot more eyes to the world of wrestling. It shows that there is a big market out there for wrestling, even if mainstream sports don’t pay attention to it all that often. Sometimes you’ll see a mainstream athlete cross over though, and this time around that is bringing some extra attention to wrestling, albeit in the form of a third sport. Well at least a simulation of one.
According to NASCAR.com, Rob Gronkowski and Mojo Rawley will be the grand marshals for this Sunday’s eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series race. While there are no fans allowed into r..

Georgia Government Officially Nearly Shut Down AEW Taping

The big man stepped in. We are in an unprecedented time in wrestling at the moment with government orders being used to fight the spread of the Coronavirus, but at the same time they are doing a lot of damage to the wrestling industry. Since there are only so many people in one place at one time, wrestling companies are having some issues with getting their shows out there. It almost got a lot more complicated than ever before.
AEW is one of the two wrestling companies that has been able to hang in there every week with new shows. Some of them are taped in advance but having so many resources at their disposal can help them a lot. However, there are limitations to what they are capable of pulling off and that limit was on display earlier this week, when things almost got shut down.
According to Wrestlinginc.com, this week’s AEW television taping was nearly shut down by the state of Georgia. The show, which was taking place at QT Marshall’s gym in Norcross, Georgia, was interrupted by..

WWE Continues Its International Expansion

It really is an international company. WWE has grown by leaps and bounds over the last decade plus, making it the undisputed leader in professional wrestling. At the end of the day, at least as far as business is concerned, no one is coming close to them and that is probably going to be the case for a long time to come. That reach is now growing into another part of the world.
The WWE Network really did change the way the wrestling world worked. All of a sudden the masses were able to see WWE’s product at the click of a button and the live pay per view events were included. That made for some of the biggest changes in all of wrestling, but that was not the case for the entire world. Now though, WWE is getting to move into a new area.
According to the WWE Middle East Twitter account, the WWE Network has officially launched in the region for the first time ever. The service went online earlier this week and will officially offer WrestleMania 36 this weekend for its first major event. J..

NXT UK Results – April 2, 2020

NXT UK
Date: April 2, 2020
Location: Coventry Skydome, Coventry, England
Commentators: Andy Williams, Nigel McGuinness
Unless there are some matches that aren’t listed, this is it as far as original episodes go for the time being. It’s a shame too as you could have imagined a match taking place over Wrestlemania weekend or something and then the huge Takeover: Dublin show. As for tonight though, it’s a big battle royal to crown a new #1 contender. Let’s get to it.
The opening video is ALL about the battle royal as everyone wants to win the match and become #1 contender.
Opening sequence.
Kay Lee Ray/Jinny vs. Dani Luna/Piper Niven Despite Dani’s protests, Piper and Jinny start things off….but Piper tags Dani in anyway. Jinny’s running crossbody doesn’t work but Ray comes in for a cheap shot to put Dani down. Ray pulls Piper off the apron and has to run away, allowing Jinny to knock Dani down for two. Some double teaming in the corner keeps Dani in trouble and Ray’s gordbuster gets ..

WWE Has Their Own Mastercards (With Pictures And Everything!)

That’s some special merchandising. WWE has all kinds of merchandise and that has been the case for decades. If there is one thing that the company knows how to do, it is finding a way to make fans want something they see on television. That is the kind of thing that can make WWE a lot of money, and in this case we have some more money being involved in the whole thing.
There are a lot of ways to watch WWE and while some may be cheaper than others, they almost all cost money. That is something that is never going to change and while you might be able to save a few dollars here and there, at the end of the day, you are going to pay to watch something WWE related whether you like it or not. Now though, you can pay with something that looks like WWE.
In association with NetSpend, WWE has unveiled a line of prepaid Mastercards featuring a variety of options, including Randy Savage, Becky Lynch, New Day and more. The cards were announced earlier this week and do not seem to offer any kind ..

Ric Flair Announces Movie Being Made About His Life, Rock Involved

There are going to be some stories to tell. Wrestlers are the kind of people that you don’t see every day. All kinds of wrestlers exist but there are only a few true legends. Those are the kind of people that you hear about almost every single day and who will be talked about forever. Some names even go beyond the world of wrestling and enter pop culture, which is going to be the case for a major wrestling name.
There are very few wrestlers on the level of Ric Flair. Whether it is in the ring, on the microphone or some combination of everything else, Flair is the kind of wrestler that only comes around once in a generation, even if that often. He is still revered to this day and that will be the case for a long time to come. It might even be more so than than usual in the near future.
Flair was a guest on Busted Open Radio and talked about an upcoming film being made about his life. There is no word on any casting or a possible release date. The Rock and his business partner Dany Gar..

WrestleMania Undergoing Big Change Next Year

It had to change sometime. Back in 2014, the wrestling world changed forever with the launch of the WWE Network. The new format made wrestling available to the masses in a way that has never been done before, with fans being able to buy into the WWE video vault for a rather cheap price. Live pay per views were included in the offer and that became one of the biggest draws of the entire thing. That might change in the future though.
One of the biggest questions about the WWE Network was the way the pricing would work. Yes there would be a lot of fans buying the service, but that was going to be a lot of money being lost in the pay per view market. It was a delicate balance between the two sides and while it has worked for a very long time, that balance may be going away by this time next year.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WrestleMania 36 may be the last time that WrestleMania is available as part of the WWE Network for no additional cost. Starting next year, there i..

How Many WWE Superstars Have Tested Positive For Coronavirus?

That’s a good sign. The Coronavirus has cranked into a completely new level over the last few weeks as the amount of cases has soared. The virus’ impact has been felt around the world and that does not seem to be changing anytime in the near future. It certainly has impacted the wrestling world and things seem to be getting worse instead of better. Now how has the spread directly impacted WWE?
One of the biggest problems with the entire situation is the most obvious one: wrestlers themselves getting sick. At the end of the day, they are humans and that means the are as vulnerable to the disease as any average person. The disease can spread at an incredibly fast rate and you never can tell who might get it next. So how is the WWE roster doing at keeping themselves safe?
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, no one in WWE has tested positive for the Coronavirus. However, it is not clear how many people in the company have been tested or how often they test employees. Rey Myst..

WATCH: Miz And John Morrison Release New Music Video

The kind of thing we need. Comedy is a hard thing to do in the world of wrestling. If you go too hard with it, you can alienate your audience. If you are too subtle with it, the fans won’t understand what you are doing and they miss the joke. At the same time, you have to find something that is actually funny so even if the presentation is right, the joke has to work too. Or other times, you find a good catchphrase and go from there.
Earlier this year, John Morrison returned to WWE and immediately reformed his tag team with the Miz. The two have a long history together and were a great tag team back in their day. They have had some more success of their own this time around as well and are currently the reigning SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Their charisma is well known, and that was on display again this week.
This speaks for itself. Check out the team’s latest musical efforts:

The Miz and Morrison have released a music video in honor of WrestleMania. The song, called Hey Hey, is ..

A trip down memory lane. Amy Dumas, known as Lita in WWE, was recently a guest on ESPN’s “Now or Never,” where she discussed some of her favorite WrestleMania memories from years past. This is to help promote WrestleMania 36 this coming weekend.
You can see the full interview below:

Lita began by discussing some of her favorite celebrity cameos throughout the years, which included Jon Stewart and Cyndi Lauper. She talked about the nerves and excitement leading up to the event, as well as the challenges that this year’s performers will be facing, due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Lita also discussed what it feels like to be finished performing at WrestleMania and what happens when they return to the backstage area.
The interview concluded with a reveal of some of her favorite moments, including being a part of the run-in for the TLC Match between Edge/Christian, The Hardy Boyz and the Dudley Boyz from Wrestlemania 17. The other one that she spoke of was lighting the table on fire dur..
