It’s the go home show for Fastlane, which is such an important show that it doesn’t actually have any raw matches announced yet. Odds are that is fixed tonight, but it doesn’t hide the fact that even WWE doesn’t care about the thing. This should be an eventful one so let’s get to it.
They don’t waste time by announcing Drew McIntyre vs. Bobby Lashley for the WWE Title at Wrestlemania.
Here are Bobby Lashley and MVP for a chat to get things going. MVP says we are now in the Almighty Era and Lashley promises to destroy McIntyre at Wrestlemania. She has managed to win everything there is to win in WWE and has headlined both the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. This is what can happen. The Coronavirus pandemic has been going on for over a year now and while things are getting a bit better, there are still a lot of problems that need to be addressed. The chance of getting sick is still certainly out there and can change a situation at a moment’s notice. Unfortunately that might be the case with one of the bigger wrestling series going today.
Despite the Coronavirus outbreak, WWE has managed to keep its television going. Things have bot been exactly the same throughout the last year but the shows have been airing and for the most part, you might not notice the difference. This has been the case for Monday Night Raw, SmackDown and NXT, but now one of them might behaving another problem.

Warm up the moving van? The Wednesday Night Wars have been one of the more interesting wrestling stories over the last year and a half and that is hardly a surprise. The battle between NXT and AEW Dynamite has given fans a miniature version of the drama of the Monday Night Wars, though this one has been a bit more one sided. Things are still changing and now it might be the big finale.
One of the problems with the Wednesday Night Wars is having a pair of two hour shows taking place on the same night at the same time. It can make for a very long night and that is going to take away some of the impact a fan can have from watching the second show. It makes sense for one company to want to counter the other, but that may no longer be the case.

It’s the go home show for Sacrifice which is one of the rather big pit stops on the way to Rebellion in April. I’m curious to see how they are going to set things up on the way there, as the card is all but set up. You can always use a little bit of an extra push though and that is what we should be in for here. Let’s get to it.

Tasha Steelz vs. Jazz Kiera Hogan and Jordynne Grace are here too. Steelz talks a lot of trash to start and Jazz doesn’t seem interested in hearing it. Jazz sends her outside without much effort but Steelz is back in with a headlock takeover. That’s reversed into a headscissors, with Steelz escaping and talking more trash. They stay on the mat with the reversals until Steelz has to bail to the rope to get out of a modified Boston crab.

He’s as bad as they come. Last night at the 2021 Grammy Awards, Bad Bunny won a Grammy award in the Best Latin Pop or Urban Album category, for his album “YHLQMDLG.” This was the first win of his career.

Bad Bunny is the current WWE 24/7 Champion and has had quite a month. In addition to the above awards, he also had the opportunity to perform on Saturday Night Live, with the title on screen. He is currently allied with Damian Priest on Raw and is rumored to be wrestling at Wrestlemania 37 against The Miz and John Morrison.

For once we’re coming off of a pretty strong show as last week saw good stuff in both of the show’s matches. The talent is there, but it is all about finding an interesting way to present it. This show has had a serious problem figuring it out along the way but hopefully they can start going in the right direction again. Let’s get to it.

Bollywood Boyz vs. Curt Stallion/Mansoor Ever-Rise joins commentary for a bonus. Commentary mentions Mansoor being undefeated during his entrance as it seems to be a thing. Mansoor wristlocks Sunil to start but gets reversed into a headlock for his efforts. Samir comes in and it’s a pair of leapfrogs into a double back elbow for two on Mansoor. Some double dropkicks take the Boyz down but it’s too early for the hot tag.

He has been in charge of the most important wrestling company in the world for decades and has been over the entire industry for a long time now. That is the kind of influence that can get him almost anything he wants, and now there is something that has made him mad.
The Coronavirus has changed the way the wrestling world works in a completely horrible way. In addition to all of the business issues regarding fans, there have been the issues involving keeping the wrestlers safe. At the end of the day, the virus is still a deadly disease and something that people are going to want to fight. There are ways to do that, but not everyone in WWE is following them. That is bad enough in the first place, but it is a much bigger problem when someone is gone for a long time. Some injuries are a lot worse than others, as you might not see an injured wrestler for a long time. That was the case last year, and only now is he ready to make a return.
Last year at WrestleMania 36, Jimmy Uso took part in a triple threat ladder match for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles. That’s a lot of people. Live fans are one of the most important things to have at a wrestling show. The more people around, the more energy the wrestlers can feed off of and also the more instant feedback they can get. Fans are not required, but they can certainly help a lot. They have been missing for a long time now, but that is about to change and in a good way.
The Coronavirus has changed the way wrestling works, with the biggest change being the lack of fans in attendance. WWE has not had any significant number of fans in person for a show in over a year now but that is about to change. WrestleMania 37 is going to feature fans in attendance, and now we know just how big of a deal it could be for both the show and the company.
