WATCH: Former WWE US Champion Makes AEW Debut

Welcome to your new home. There have been several roster changes for WWE over the last year and a half, with several long time wrestlers moving on from the company. That can make for some interesting moments for other rosters, as you do not know where some of these wrestlers are going to wind up. It can be quite the moment when you see them show up elsewhere, and now another former WWE star has made a big appearance.
Samuray del Sol, formerly known as Kalisto in WWE, made his AEW debut during this week’s addition of Dynamite. Del Sol teamed with Aerostar to challenge FTR for the AAA Tag Team Titles in a losing effort. Del Sol was released from WWE on April 15 of this year and has not wrestled since competing in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on April 1. There is no word on if he will be appearing again in AEW.
Del Sol is someone who could be a star anywhere. Check out what he can do in the ring:

Two More Matches Set For AEW Full Gear With A Surprise Each

The show is growing. We are well on the way to AEW Full Gear and that means the card is almost entirely put together. The key to that however is almost, as there is still some time to set things up before we get to the pay per view. AEW has all kinds of wrestlers available and now we have two more matches finally set, as there were some details officially confirmed this week.
Two more Full Gear matches were officially confirmed this week on Dynamite. These matches had both been announced in advance, but more details had to be set. First up, the Inner Circle selected the three members of American Top Team to join the Men of the Year in a street fight. The Inner Circle chose Junior Dos Santos, Andrei Arlovski and Dan Lambert to take part in the match.
Later, in the show’s main event, Miro defeated Orange Cassidy to earn a spot in the World Title Eliminator Tournament, where he will face Bryan Danielson. Following the match, Danielson came to the ring and offered Miro a handshake but Mi..

WWE Lets Several More Names Go From The Company

So long? WWE is a huge wrestling company and have all kinds of people on their roster. While you are going to know all kinds of stars from the television show, there are several more people who wrestle behind the scenes and will almost never get the recognition that they deserve. Now though, it seems that even more of them are going to be gone, which has been the case quite often recently.
Multiple WWE backstage employees have left the company in recent days. According to PWInsider.com, Stan Stanski, the Senior Vice President of Creative Services, has left WWE after almost fifteen years in the company. His departure has led several people to believe that almost no one is safe. In addition, according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, WWE made several office cuts this week, with the total being in the single digits. It is not clear if Stanski is in this group or if more releases are coming.
Fightful has confirmed that WWE had several office cuts this week. We're told in the single di..

KB’s Review: Give Them Two Stars

I think it’s safe to say that AEW has been a success so far. You can argue about their audience/demo (or please don’t) but it is clear that they have made an impact and shaken things up. That is something that is not exactly easy to do but AEW has not only hit the ground running but picked up all kinds of momentum, especially in the last few months. A lot of that is due to the last few months and we are going to be looking at two of the bigger moves today.
Back on August 20, CM Punk made his AEW debut in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois on the second episode of Rampage. This very well may have been the greatest moment that the company has had to date, as Punk received the hero’s welcome to end them all, driving him to near tears (or maybe all the way there) in response. Throw in the “have a free ice cream bar on me” to make it even better and this could not have gone much better.
Fast forward to All Out on September 5, when Bryan Danielson appeared as the big surprise to end the sho..

VIDEO: There’s A New Tag Team With A Very Unique Name

Hook em up. Tag team wrestling has a weird history in WWE, as it has had some bright spots but has often been little more than filler on a lot of shows. Even in the worse times though, tag wrestling has always had something of a place in WWE, with several teams standing out in history. Now there is another team in the company and this one even has a name.
Ikemen Jiro and Kushida have formed a tag team in NXT and in a new video, they have announced their team name as Jacket Time. The name comes from a combination of the jacket that Jiro wears in in the ring and Kushida’s previous team, the Time Splitters. The team has yet to wrestle a match together, but have been shown in various backstage segments together.
It’s a unique name. Check out the announcement, plus both of them in action:

AEW Dynamite Live Coverage And Results – November 3, 2021

Dynamite
Date: November 3, 2021
Location: Cable Dahmer Arena, Independence, Missouri
Commentators: Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone, Excalibur
We are less than three weeks away from Full Gear and things have been shaken up a bit. Jon Moxley, who was in the semifinals of the #1 contenders tournament, has decided to go to rehab for alcohol issues, which leaves a big hole in the brackets. We should get a replacement tonight though and that could be interesting. Let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
Kenny Omega vs. Alan Angels Non-title and commentary brings up Moxley’s issues during Omega’s entrance. Angels goes right after him to start but Omega knocks him back, including some chops. A few shots knock Omega into the corner but he’s back with the Kitaro Crusher. Omega hits a running face shots to take Angels down (think a bulldog but from the front) and the brainbuster onto the knee knocks Angels silly.
The V Trigger misses though and Angels grabs a rollup for two. There’s a suicide dive to send..

Another Top NXT Star’s Contract Expiring Next Month

Another one out the door? The WWE landscape has changed in all kinds of ways over the last few years, including several wrestlers leaving. A lot of these names have been part of NXT, which has been completely overhauled as well. There are not that many wrestlers left from NXT’s glory days, and now it seems that another one might be on their way out of the company as well.
According to PWInsider.com, Kyle O’Reilly’s WWE contract is set to expire in December and WWE is currently discussing his future in the company. Internally, O’Reilly is said to be the #2 babyface in NXT behind NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa. Since the NXT 2.0 relaunch, O’Reilly has been teaming with Von Wagner. There is no word on what O’Reilly will do, though there is a chance that he could re-sign with WWE.
O’Reilly has done some very good things in NXT. Check out his time in the company:

Update On The Bella Twins Potentially Wrestling Again In WWE

Never again? There have been so many wrestlers to step foot in a WWE ring over the years that it is realistically impossible to keep track of all of them. It is rare to see someone really stand out above the rest, but there certainly have been some over the years. A handful of them are enshrined in the WWE Hall of Fame, but now we know that some of those legends are unlikely to return to the ring.
During the latest edition of their Bellas Podcast, the Bella Twins revealed that they have no plans to return to the ring. While they would like to wrestle again, Nikki is officially retired due to her injuries. There is a chance that it could happen in the future, but it is not something that will be happening anytime soon. The Bellas last wrestled as a team on the October 8, 2018 Monday Night Raw.
The team was pretty great. Check out their time in WWE:

WRESTLING RUMORS: NXT Star Out Of Action With Injury

That’s never good to see. As great as wrestlers can be at their job, there is always the chance that something could go wrong and they could wind up on the injured list. An injury could come all at once or be built up over time with general wear and tear. Either way, it means that someone is going to be on the shelf and that is the case with a current NXT wrestler.
This week’s NXT saw Toxic Attraction attacking Zoey Stark backstage and leaving her laying in the locker room. According to Post Wrestling, Stark is legitimately injured and the attack was a way to write her off of television. There is no word on when Stark was injured or how long she will be out of action. Stark’s most recent match came on the October 26 edition of NXT.
Stark is quite good when she is healthy. Check out what she can do in the ring:

205 Live Results – October 29, 2021

205 Live
Date: October 29, 2021
Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Orlando, Florida
Commentators: Vic Joseph, Nigel McGuinness
It’s time for more of the NXT B show and that sounds good enough to me. I’m still wondering if they are going to change the name though, as we are now in a rare case where every single thing about the show’s title is completely inaccurate. It takes something special to pull that off and a new name would make sense. Let’s get to it.
Boa vs. Jeet Rama Mei Ying is here with Boa. Feeling out process to start until Rama takes him down to the mat with a headlock takeover. Back up and some armdrags have Boa in more trouble and even out on the floor for a breather. Boa gets back in and hits a few shots to the face in the corner, setting up the chinlock. A neckbreaker gets two on Rama, followed by a shot to the throat for the same. It’s off to a figure four necklock but Rama fights up and hits some rolling gutwrench suplexes. Boa escapes a powerslam though and grabs ..

Ring Of Honor TV Results – October 27, 2021

Ring of Honor
Date: October 27, 2021
Location: 2300 Arena, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Commentators: Ian Riccaboni, Caprice Coleman
Well now everything has changed. Ring of Honor’s future suddenly looks WAY different and that is not the best news. I’m not sure what is going to happen with the company but it is clear that things are going to be wrapping up. Hopefully the final few shows are good, but this is very uncharted territory. Let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
Vincent is checking himself in the mirror and has the rest of the Righteous say that “he” is going to love it.
Quinn McKay runs down the card, which is all based on Violence vs. Pure.
Rhett Titus vs. Tony Deppen Both of them talk about how they want to show that their style is better. They go with the technical stuff on the mat as Deppen wants to show he can do this too. Titus grabs a test of strength and powers him to the mat without much effort but Deppen reverses into a leglock. That’s broken up and we take an early..

There May Be Several New Free Agents On The Wrestling Market

See you down the road? The wrestling world has been all over the place in recent months and there is nothing to suggest that it is going to change anytime soon. That could make for some very interesting landscapes in the future, especially for the wrestlers who are going all over the place. It seems that might be the case for more wrestlers, but it might not be what it seems.
According to PWInsider.com, five names have been removed from the Impact Wrestling roster page. The following names are no longer appearing on the page:
Tommy Dreamer TJP Petey Williams No Way Taylor Wilde Dreamer is currently absent from television over his comments on a recent edition of Dark Side Of The Ring, while Williams is going through a tryout to be a WWE producer. However, Impact Wrestling has responded, saying that these wrestlers have not been released. It is not clear if they will continue to appear with the company going forward or not.
You might not be seeing them again. Check out some of the nam..
