It’s A Matter Of Time: Interesting Detail On Lita’s WWE Return

They had a plan for that. We are coming up on WrestleMania 39 but there is one more major stop before we get out to Los Angeles. That would be Elimination Chamber, which is going to need quite the lineup of its own. WWE has already started setting things up for the show, and it now seems that they had planned to get the ball rolling on one of the bigger matches even sooner than expected. This week on Monday Night Raw, Lita made a surprise return to help Becky Lynch defeat Bayley, who had Damage Ctrl assisting her. Soon after, a report came out saying that this was to set up a six woman tag at Elimination Chamber, also involving Trish Stratus. According to Wrestling Observer Live, Lita helping Lynch was the original plan for the previous week at Raw XXX, when the Lynch vs. Bayley cage match was canceled due to timing issues. NXT Date: February 7, 2023 Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Orlando, Florida Commentators: Vic Joseph, Booker T. We’re done with Vengeance Day and just shy of two months away from Stand & Deliver. It looks like we have a title match set up, as Carmelo Hayes stared down Bron Breakker, who retained the NXT Title in the main event. That should give us a clear path to Los Angeles so let’s get to it. We open with the recap of Vengeance Day. Here are Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes to open things up. Williams talks about how Hayes turned seer Apollo Crews into Stevie Wonder before Hayes brags about his win too. Hayes knows his destiny and there is one man waiting for him. Those are often the more serious ones though and the question becomes how the recovery is going to go. That is the case again, as a wrestling legend is recovering from a health scare. At the same time, there is little that is more dominant than being on television, as it remains the dominant force for distribution. Now one of the biggest wrestling shows of the week is changing for a little while.
