He’s Done? WWE Hall Of Fame Says He Won’t Wrestle Again
So that’s it? Retirement is a tricky thing in wrestling, as so many wrestlers will come back for one more match after they have decided to hang up their boots. It can be so easy to come back and wrestle one more time, whether it makes sense or not. All kinds of wrestlers will announce that their careers are over, and now another legend has said that he won’t be wrestling again.

Last month, WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T. appeared in the men’s Royal Rumble match, lasting about 45 seconds. This week, on his Hall Of Fame podcast, Booker T., 57 years old, announced that would be the last time he would compete in a match. While he will still work in the ring with his students, he will not be having another match again. When asked about wrestlers returning for one more match, he emphasized that he was done, “at that kind of level”. There is no word on if this means he might consider wrestling again at a smaller show in the future.
He certainly had a career. Check out Booker T.’s time in wrestling:

Opinion: While that “at that kind of level” line sounds like it might be a backdoor out of what he said, I do believe that Booker T. means it when he said he was done. He has had an all time legendary career and looked more than good when he got in the ring last time. There is nothing wrong with one more Royal Rumble appearance or a match in his own promotion or something like that, but if that was it, he went out well.
