WWE To Air Live Kurt Angle Post-RAW Interview; Sami Zayn Launches Campaign For War Victims

Sami Zayn launched a fundraiser on Wednesday to help the victims of the Syrian Civil War. In association with the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) Foundation, the SmackDown Live superstar is working to provide millions of Syrians with a mobile medical unit. With hospitals destroyed in the Middle Eastern country, the medical unit will provide the help for people displaced.

The fundraising campaign, titled “#SamiForSyria,” has a fundraising goal of $48,000. As of 5 p.m. EDT on July 13, 372 donors have contributed over $21,500. From the list of donors, fellow WWE superstars Seth Rollins, Finn Bálor, and Kevin Owens, with his wife Karina, have donated.

The WWE has been hyping Kurt Angle’s big reveal in a new video update from Cathy Kelley and with the announced that the former Olympian will engage in a live interview exclusively on the WWE Network after this upcoming Monday Night RAW. For the last several weeks, Angle has been involved in a storyline regarding a secret he’s withheld. In a surprising move throughout these weeks, RAW commentator Corey Graves has taken part in discovering pieces of the puzzle. The upcoming July 17 broadcast of RAW, live from Nashville, will include Angle’s reveal.
