WWE SmackDown Ratings, Viewership (9/26/17): Numbers Increase This Week
The WWE SmackDown ratings data and viewership information are in for this week’s show, and the blue brand saw their numbers increase after a slight dip last week. Last night’s show, which featured more build for Hell In A Cell, Shinsuke Nakamura try to Kinsasha WWE Champion Jinder Mahal’s head off, Charlotte take on Ms. Money In The Bank Carmella, and a main event featuring Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn doing what they do best until they were interrupted by Shane McMahon, drew 2.542 million viewers. This is up from last week’s 2.510 million viewers.
Not a bad outing for the blue brand last night. The build for Hell In A Cell and the continuing drama between the McMahon family and Kevin Owens seem to be keeping fans tuned in on Tuesday nights, if for no other reason than to see if Shane McMahon is going to do something utterly crazy.
SmackDown Live was #4 in viewership for the night on cable, falling behind Hannity, Rachel Maddow, and Tucker Carlson. SmackDown Live was #2 in the 18-49 demographic on cable for the night, falling behind American Horror Story. In the coveted 18-49 demographic, the blue brand garnered a .82 cable rating. This is up from last week’s .74 rating in the same demographic.
