The WWE SmackDown ratings data and viewership information is in for this week’s show, and the blue brand gained viewers again this week. Tuesday’s episode, which featured more hype for the upcoming Money In The Bank PPV and Dolph Ziggler and AJ Styles in the main event, drew 2.350 million viewers. This is up 1% from last week’s post-Backlash episode, which garnered 2.328 million viewers.

At this point time, with ratings and viewership seeming to hit new lows week in and week out, this week’s slight up-tick can be seen as good news for the WWE and its Tuesday night show.

SmackDown Live was #3 in viewership on cable for the night, falling behind Tucker Carlson and Hannity. SmackDown Live was #1 in the 18-49 demographic Tuesday night, and it drew a .77 cable rating in that coveted demographic. This is down slightly from from last week’s .80 rating in the same demographic.

This is the second week in a row that SmackDown Live saw an increase in viewers and RAW lost viewers. While Monday’s episode of RAW just lost a handful of viewers compared to the week prior, it is still an interesting trend. Is this a case of fans preferring quality over a quantity, or is the blue brand really the better show?
