WWE SmackDown Ratings, Viewership (10/24/17): Numbers Get A Boost This Week
The WWE SmackDown ratings data and viewership information are in for this week’s show, and the blue brand saw their numbers increase nicely for this week’s episode. Last night’s show, which featured Sami Zayn and Randy Orton in the main event, more build for Survivor Series, and the Women’s Division fight it out to see who would captain the SmackDown Live Women’s Team at Survivor Series, drew 2.699 million viewers. This is up from last week’s 2.320 million viewers.
This week’s increase probably had a lot to do with the social media buzz the final segment of Monday’s RAW garnered. Everyone saw the blue brand invade and take out most of the flagship show’s roster, and the fans were wondering if RAW would seek revenge last night. For those not following along, they didn’t show up.
SmackDown Live was #2 in viewership for this week on cable, falling behind American Horror Story. SmackDown Live was #2 in the 18-49 demographic, falling behind American Horror Story. The blue brand faced no competition from any of the major sports outlets this week.
The show scored a .81 cable rating for the night in the 18-49 demographic. This is up from last week’s .73 rating in the same demographic.
