Earlier today WWE released 8 of its talents from their contracts.The released stars were Barrett,Santino Marella,El Torito,Zeb Coulter,Alex Riley,Cameron and Damien Sandow.
WWE issued the following statement :
WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstars King Barrett, Damien Sandow, Santino Marella, Cameron, Hornswoggle, Alex Riley, El Torito and Zeb Colter as of today, Friday, May 6, 2016. WWE wishes them the best in all of their future endeavors. Sandow's last match came on SmackDown last week, a loss to Baron CorbinBarrett's contract was about to expire this June and Barrett was not happy with the way things were going with him and he clearly stated that he won't be re-signing with WWE again as he was pretty unhappy with his current WWE run.
