WWE RAW Ratings, Viewership (9/11/17): Numbers Down Again This Week
The WWE RAW ratings and viewership figures are in for this week’s show, and Monday’s episode of WWE’s flagship show was once again unable draw 3 million viewers. This week’s show, which featured more drama between John Cena and Roman Reigns, Cena facing Braun Strowman, more build up to No Mercy, and an 8-man tag team main event, drew 2.903 million viewers. This is down from last week’s 2.932 million viewers for the RAW Labor Day episode.
I am sure that football and the fact that Hurricane Irma was tearing through the South on Monday had a bit to do with the lower ratings. But, WWE’s flagship show needs to keep the viewers interested as they head into the RAW brand No Mercy PPV next weekend.
The hourly breakdown this week was as follows:
First Hour: 3.022 million viewers (3.069 million viewers last week)
Second Hour: 2.987 million viewers (2.978 million viewers last week)
Third Hour: 2.699 million viewers (2.750 million viewers last week)
RAW was #3 in viewership and #3 in the 18-49 demographic for the night on cable, falling behind NFL regular season coverage on ESPN and Love & Hip Hop Hollywood. In the coveted 18-49 demographic, RAW garnered a .99 cable rating. This is down from last week’s 1.04 rating in the same demographic
