WWE RAW Ratings, Viewership (7/17/17): Numbers Continue To Inch Up
The WWE RAW ratings and viewership figures are in for this week’s show, and Monday’s episode of WWE’s flagship show continues to draw in the viewers. Last night’s show, which featured the continued build for next month’s SummerSlam, the reveal of Kurt Angles big secret, and a main event that saw Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns fight it out to see who would challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Title, drew 3.153 million viewers. This is up 5% from last week’s 3.009 million viewers.
It’s likely that the hype for Angle’s big reveal and buzz surrounding a possible Braun Strowman return in last night’s main event helped bring in some viewers and keep others around for the whole show. This will probably be the case as the build for SummerSlam gets stronger over the next few weeks.
The hourly breakdown this week was as follows:
- First Hour: 3.140 million viewers (3.049 million viewers last week)
- Second Hour: 3.237 million viewers (3.074 million viewers last week)
- Third Hour: 3.083 million viewers (2.905 million viewers last week)
RAW was #1 in viewership for the night on cable and #2 in the 18-49 demographic, falling behind Love & Hip-Hop. In the coveted 18-49 demographic, WWE’s flagship show drew a 1.07 cable rating. This is up from last week’s .97 cable rating in the same demographic.
