WWE NXT Results (11/1/17); Rules For WarGames Announced
The road to NXT TakeOver: Wargames continued last night on NXT, with the contract signing for the NXT Title match between Andrade Almas and Drew McIntyre not going entirely as planned. Plus, William Regal made the WarGames match between Sanity, The Authors of Pain and Roderick Strong and The Undisputed Era official.
NXT Results
Nikki Cross defeated Taynara Conti.
Fabian Aichner defeated Johnny Gargano.
NXT Tag Team Title
Sanity vs The Authors Of Pain ended in a no contest when all hell broke loose.
And, with WarGames now being official, WWE couldn’t just go by the original setup and rules for the match. They had to change things up with new rules and everything.
WarGames Rules
- All three teams will be contained inside separate shark cages by the entranceway, with a member from each team (as chosen by his respective squad) starting the match.
- After five minutes, the remaining members from one team will be released from their shark cage and allowed to enter the match.
- When another three-minute period elapses, the remaining members from a second team are released from their shark cage and enter the match.
- Following another three-minute period, the final team’s members are released from their shark cage and enter the match.
- Once all three teams have entered the WarGames Match, a victory can be attained via pinfall or submission.
And, no. This isn’t WarGames…at least not the WarGames most of us remember so fondly.
