WWE News: Why Reginald Won The 24/7 Title, Future Plans For Him
There’s a reason for that. The last week of WWE shows have been among the most eventful in recent memory as fans have returned to the arenas for the first time in about fifteen months. That is a long time to go without anyone in the arena and it is great to have them back. WWE has been trying to do some things to make the shows more interesting and now we know a bit more about why.
This week on Monday Night Raw, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler split from Reginald, who immediately went on to win the 24/7 Title. According to PWInsider.com, WWE’s play is to present Reginald as a babyface going forward. The idea is that Reginald has a unique set of skills which could be used as a way to boost the 24/7 division. Reginald debuted on WWE television in December 2020 and has served as a valet for Jax, Baszler and Carmella.
This could be a change of pace. Check out the new champ:

Opinion: The more I think about this, the more I can come around on it. Reginald certainly does have a special set of athletic abilities and that could be something useful in WWE. It also helps that he is doing something that means almost nothing in the grand scheme of things, so it isn’t like this is going to hurt anyone. Let him do his flips and dives to impress the crowd and things should work out fine.
What do you think of the idea? How will it work out? Let us know in the comments below.
