More Southpaw Regional Wrestling From WWE?

In a recent interview with Playback, John Cena spoke about the wildly popular Southpaw Regional Wrestling and hinted that we will probably get more of the series in the future.

“It’s amazing because it captures everything of that era, but we never show any wrestling. And it’s so great and it just goes to show how far sports entertainment has come.

“Here we are 30 years removed from it, or more, and we are able to laugh at the way things were done, especially the small-time promotions trying to keep up with ‘New York’, when Vince [McMahon] was doing crazy global stuff, and everyone else was falling by the wayside. It’s just their crazy last ditch attempts to try to keep up with the frontrunner. And it was really fun and there’s more on the way, so I’m very much looking forward to it.

“Bro, I have seen Tex Ferguson unleashed. Be on the lookout for more Tex Ferguson. He is a superstar. He is just a superstar.”

All I can say is, “Bring it back NOW!!!”

Broken Matt vs Bray Wyatt?

If and when the legal issues between Matt Hardy and Anthem over the whole “Broken” gimmick get settled, Matt says he wants to unleash the Broken Universe on one specific WWE Superstar: Bray Wyatt.

Just for starters, if we get to where we need to be, I think ‘Broken’ Matt Hardy against Bray Wyatt would be an amazing deal, and you look at him [Jeff] – him vs Seth Rollins, him vs Finn Balor, either one of us vs Roman Reigns – there’s a lot of cool, interesting combinations of guys who became stars in the last five or six years that we’ve never worked against, it’s totally like a fresh slate. So there’s a lot of potential forces as singles competitors also.

I am pretty sure this is a feud that all of us would be very happy with.
