WWE Might Be Making A Permanent WrestleMania Change
Stretch it out. We are coming up on the end of 2021 and that means it is time to start getting ready for the new year. That is the case in the wrestling world as well, as we are almost on the Road to WrestleMania. As a result, it is time to start making plans for the biggest night of the year, but it turns out that we might be seeing something different going forward.
Earlier this week, WWE announced some official details on next year’s WrestleMania 38, including that the show will take place over two nights instead of one. This will be the third straight year that WrestleMania will be a two night event. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, this will likely be the case with every WrestleMania going forward, including WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles in 2023.
WrestleMania has done well as a two night event. Check out what happens when the show is split up:

Opinion: As an old school fan, I’m not wild on this, but ultimately it is probably the right call. You can only cram so much into one night of WrestleMania so putting it onto two nights does make sense. Hopefully WWE can figure out how to make this work going forward and it will eventually become the new normal. It does have a lot of benefits and that should make the change a good move almost immediately.
