It’s respected! At Royal Rumble 2017, John Cena did the unimaginable: He tied Ric Flair’s hallowed record of 16 World Title wins after defeating AJ Styles in an emotional have compatibility witnessed via 52,020 frenzied fans all over the Alamodome.
For years, it appeared inconceivable that any Superstar might means Flair’s record, let on my own have compatibility it. Year after 12 months, alternatively, The Champ continued his hard art work and resolution, relentless in his power to hold himself. And despite the fact that he captured the United States Championship merely 14 months prior to now, he hadn’t won a World Title since June 29, 2014. That perseverance, alternatively, would pay hefty dividends at Royal Rumble in his pursuit of the WWE Championship.
Editor’s Opinion:
Not perfect was once this crucial have compatibility, however it was once historical in that it solidified Cena’s 16th reign as a World Champion. These two are two of the most productive of all time, and any time they are inside the ring together, it is magic.
